I was running at 90% earlier because I had all this armor on. Looked cool but I've trimmed down to 32.3%. Trying to make my way to the ship now.

Question about weight percentage. If I'm 51% of 100%, does that mean I'm not fat/heavy rolling yet? The percentage is still green, so I'm assuming that means I'm still good and I'm not over-encumbered?

I'm a little confused about the weight system. I'm wearing mostly (H) items, but I'm sitting around 60% and still green. I do have some stat points in the weight category though.

Also I finally beat that third boss last night. Was a major pain but once I got the patterns down it wasn't the worst. I think it did take me longer than the boat boss though.

Speaking of armors, what do the (H), (L) mean?

I like the lighter armor myself. I like being more agile.

The boat boss was a SOB to me. Took me quite a few trys.

The weight limits are 30% for the fastest dodge/roll, 70% for medium, and I believe up to 100% for fat roll. At 100% any action fully depletes your ki I believe.

I'm pretty sure that the weight limit affects ki recovery and usage as well, but I'm not sure how much of a difference it makes. I've been running sub-30% for the whole game.

I think I was more excited about beating the demon guy on the roof and finally getting around to remove the plank from the other side of the door near the shrine than getting to the boat. LOL

I've fought Onryoki about 3 times now to no avail. Time for Daddy Duty since nap time is over but I'll work on him some more later this evening!

The duel with the warrior of the west is annoying af. He seems to break combat ki rules at will.

ok, well I wondered why I couldn't get the Ki pulse to work, LOL. I'm such a dummy when it comes to this game. Thank goodness for OS.

I was doing it ok in the training and then before I put that armor on I did it ok but after I put the armor on I never could. I guess I should have put it together why but I think I was thinking it was just because I was low level and didn't have much Ki to begin with.

Now I'm eager to get back in and remove that armor and try fighting and Ki pulsing.

I gotta do my homework on items and pulsing and all. I've got items that I'm fully stocked on but don't know when to use em. I primarily use elixir to heal myself and stones to draw enemies into one on one situations for fights. Lol

I am still obsessed with this game. I am almost ready to leave for the 3rd region. For those that care, I run with very light armor. I am at 28% weight capacity, which lets me evade like crazy. You find really high defense, light armor the further you get in the game. The loot is amazing. Make sure you make full use of reforging to get weapons/armor the way you like it.

I find the comments on bosses funny. I beat the Warrior Of The West on the first try, along with another 1 on 1 battle. But no matter what I did, I could not beat Nue, the boss at the mid point on level 3. Nothing I did worked. Took me about 15 tries, half of those co-op before I, with the help of another player, beat him. It was nuts. I am not the best player but I am a vet of all the Souls games. I have heard others say that they found Nue very easy and the bosses I beat with ease to be difficult. Weird.

Using your Moment totems, which unleash your Spirit Animal, can be very good on a 1 v 1 boss battle against another Samurai like the Warrior Of The West. I had about 5 of those totems and each time I used it the opponent was knocked to the ground which let me do a strong attack. That comes in very handy. So try to use that if you are having trouble.

I am hearing one complaint by people that are deep into the game or have finished it and that is lack of enemy variety. Supposedly once you are about halfway thru the game, you have seen all of the enemy types, bosses excluded of course. That's disappointing to hear and I hope that changes with the DLC.
