I finally broke the 1000 hour mark!


I was a magnet last night, everyone kept running right up to where I was laying. I normally dont play sneaky sneaky, but both my weapons were silenced & I ended up with a ghillie toward the end, so I went snake in the grass with it. Nothing special, just found it interesting how many people were running right on top me, 3rd place w/ 6 kills.

Nice kills Phobia! I especially like the white picket fence creep walk kill, extra points for being cinematic haha.

I saw the days counting down on the 'season'. I'm assuming that's when you collect rewards and stats reset? Finally I might be able to go over 1.0 now that I have experience under my belt.

Haven't played this game in MONTHS, got the itch to play because of the time of year (I'm a weird, nostalgic gamer like that and first started playing this around this time of year two years ago) just had a 5 kill, 2nd place match in my first match back.

Was playing very well and would have had a chance to win but I got stuck at the base of a hill in the last zone and died in the blue, with no chance to get back into the zone in time. Disappointing loss, but a good round overall.

Can't believe I've forgotten how freaking intense this game is, my blood is STILL pumping.

That just got me hype to get back on. I haven't played in a couple of months since choking away a match where I played flawlessly up until the very end. It was taking my time lining up the final shot for the chicken dinner, and the guy had no clue where I was. The problem was that I had been there for so long that I got comfortable, and I completely forgot about the zone behind me. As soon as I started shooting at him, it overtook me and I died. I was so disgusted in myself.

Yeah, it's time for me to hop back on there. I've been out of the shooter loop for a while, and it's time for me to fire this and Rainbow back up.

It's frustrating when you realize it and have no time to get into the circle. Especially after having good round.

I can only play PUBG in spurts, there's a lot of down time and sometimes I just want to go. Plus I can only be patient for so long/so many rounds. The intensity level is higher than everything else and my Blood Pressure just can't take too much of it lol.

Some good sniping moments as well as general gunplay - not all flattering and far too long. I also increased the contrast and saturation because I find DVR stuff all super flat and washed out compared to gameplay.

Finally got a 6 kill game, finished 3rd because I was stupid and got killed by the zone closing.

Also FINALLY had a full-on sniper match where I got the Kar98, an 8x scope on Miramar with a decent amount of time left and lots of space. I'll upload some vids later, but I zero'd to 200m and got 2 back to back kills over 250m, then another one around 200m, 2 buggy kills and one point blank (to get the kar+8x) with the m16 no optics. Match started pretty hopeless with crappy guns and no optics - no backpack either! so it's fun when your fortunes turn so quickly picking off a dude with a bunch of stuff. So those kills are a good distance, but I still want one over 500m - I hit a guy last month from at least that, but not a headshot and that was that.

Miramar is my fav map though, it just suits my play-style and lets me shine more. After playing so many hours of BF, Sniper Elite and so on, I'm just better when I can reach a location w/ sightlines, do some recon and planning and have at it.

I with this happened more often though as it just seems SUPER rare. in over 700 games I've only got an 8x about 5 times and a 15x once. I think if there were a few more sniper rifles on the map and especially more high powered optics, they wouldn't get spammed because the bolt-actions are really hard to get kills with compared to other semi-auto guns imo.

The update is interesting too. This season I have a lower k/d than last (after clawing back from .58 when I started playing I got up to .82 or something) o for the latter half of last season I must have been like 1.2 or something - now I'm experienced and "worse" and I noticed possible cheaters and potential aim bots. I got dropped instantly a couple of times during my last few play sessions in frantic firefights that seemed fishy to me - also seen much more rubber-banding. I'm not sure if it's flukes, but my overall performance would suggest something is going on...

PUBG is $15 on PSN. This is the first time I recall seeing a discount for it in the store. Well worth the money if you enjoy shooters.

it's such an awesome game and has become easily one of my all-time favourites, I can't even seem to play anything else.

I don't get all the negative reviews, despite some minor flaws, I can't think of a more satisfying experience. I just captures a whole bunch more clips I'll put up over the next couple of weeks - anyway anyone wondering who likes a decent amount of 'sim' feel, this game is the best. I wish BF had the same shooting feel/mechanics.

Phobia, that's some hard-core sniping man! Nice work - I had to upload another one after seeing that. I love the AWM but haven't had it more than a few times which makes me want to start crate hunting. My fav combo in the game is now the M24 or Kar98 with the full blown machine gun, there is a clip of it in there, the one with the disk mag on top. I feel like that covers all ranges and situations. I really like the DMR's too, and in many cases you could probably get more kills with it than the SR's, but I like the extra stopping power and traditional bolt-action. I actually use the dmr's like assault rifles sometimes and will pair it with a bolt, even in short range I don't feel at a tremendous disadvantage and actually full auto guns beyond the machine gun I just can't control as well, so the semi-auto forces me to chill a bit more and hit the shots.

This vid has my longest kill at 406m and a few 260m plus kills. I'm pissed I didn't hold the trigger down longer for the AWM kill because that thing feels so crazy powerful and the bullet speed feels so crazy - nothing like lining up a shot you KNOW you will get the kill and admiring it through the scope after.

Nice shots allB! Always feels so damn good to flick off a nice headshot. I don't know if it's just me but I feel like consoles rag-doll effect looks a lot more pronounced.
