Apparently Disney's CEO Bob Igor is personally involved in this now, he can't be happy that EA is dragging the Star Wars name through the mud.

If you want these micro transactions and loot boxes to change then you got to vote with your wallet. There are enough games out there to play that don't have these features, I will support those.

I wish they would just announce what their goal for the new cash shop will be. If they were to announce that it will be cosmetic only I'd buy today.

Regarding progression. The guy in this thread claims to have 54 hours into the game so far and that "progression has slowed to a crawl". Others are supporting his claim.

Exactly my feelings on this. Buying this game just enables them and other companies to do this. I'm not usually one to tell people what do with their money, but this is an exception in my eyes.

For those of us who do have the game, what are your favorite classes? I mainly have been alternating between Assault and Heavy. I haven't tried Officer yet, though I should based on how much those pistols **** me up when I'm going up against enemy officers.

I haven't done Galactic Assault or Hero v Villians yet, though I did try some Starfighter Assault the other day. It's not bad, just gotta get used to the changes between the first game and this game. Just seems to handle a bit differently than I remember.

Probably Blast and Strike will be where I spend the majority of my time.

You can play with vehicles in default arcade mode. It plays like online would. You have to assign how many troops/lives, etc...

Doesn't look like you can...only option is to run around. And on just a few smaller maps no less. Kinda bad you can't play arcade space battles.

Problem now is progression system is too slow....I'm not a professional( don't have time to play this game 40 hours a week).....purchasing upgrades would've worked in my lifestyle

Ive been playing mostly assault.....love GA and SA....even dabbled in Arcade & the Campaign Mode too....i like the game....as noted above....progression system isn't my fav

Nobody should have to grind that much for this type of game. Purchasing system is just an expensive band-aid for an underlying infection.

If you want to throw money at it, that's your right but I don't want this to be the new norm for $60 titles.

Really enjoy the Heroes v. Villains mode. Illustrates the need for another Jedi Academy style game. Being a stormtrooper can be fun, but nothing beats wielding a lightsaber.

I miss just the 60.00 dollar option being the only option. These deluxe and premium options going over 100.00 should be illegal. Okay illegal is a bit harsh but absurd is good terminology to describe this model of gaming.

I mean let's face it. We can by used systems for almost at that price. I have friends that have put in 200.00 on one game . Games like this with big names now make that a reality. People that do ruin it for the industry . There should be one set price for all. Make it balanced and these publishers will still get their millions .
