I order the games soundtrack of amazon last night. Really close to end of act 1 now got stuck last night for like a hour and a half just not realize i had to talk to someone lol.

This game is awesome.

I've been playing it with almost all of my free time since it came on Saturday.

The story and characters are great. I've even been impressed with the english voice acting.

Combat is fun, though it could be a little more complex.

I wish that the stealth actions were a little more fun. The AI is comically dumb.

The world is beautiful, and I love the usage of the environment to guide you along the way.

I've been doing every little side quest along the way and I'm only a little bit into act 2. So, I'm very happy with the length of this game.

For anyone looking to get a bunch of flowers, go to Hakuaku Forest and just select guiding wing target to undiscovered flowers and you’ll find a ton there plus number of bears and trees.

Playing on normal and have put about 16.5 hours into this game i would guess. On early part of act 2 and i have not even down much side missions. Can't believe some people find this game to be to easy. On just normal at the end of act one i got stuck for like 2 and a half hours straight dying. End of the act was pretty intense. Over all the end of like act 1 and now begging of act 2 things have really picked up. Looking forward to playing more and more over the next few weeks. Not sure how i would rank this compared to other ps4 games yet being that i am still only like 40% into the story but i think it may end up being my 3rd favorite behind spiderman at number 2 and HZD at number 1.

Probably should do side missions, by the middle of act 2 I have all the stances complete and my katana, bows are all fully upgraded and those make a difference. Also all the current armor fully upgraded too.

There’s also a bunch or charms you use to increase sources faster and gain health faster.

The time you took dying you could have done side missions to make Jin better and stronger.

I had 2 stances at that point in time. I never do side missions on my first play threw of games. I always just do main missions on first play threw and than do a second play threw trying to do 100%.

I'm 40 hours into the game on hard and just reached the second area a few hours ago and when I did, a few new "outposts/camps" popped up in the first area since I didn't liberate that area 100%.

I have all 4 stances but haven't upgraded any of them yet. I have mostly done stealth kills with the knife or bow and arrows. Sword wise, im better now then I was in the beginning since my sword is one upgrade away from being maxed out.

The camera is still my biggest issue. Just so damn frustrating sometimes. Other than that, the lack of "quality of life" stuff would be second. Like not being able to climb up/down anything and everything. It's so annoying. No actual waypoints on screen would also be part of that. Sometimes, im searching and searching and it's like, just give me the waypoint. lmao.

Tsushima will easily my highest rated game thus far of 2020 (expecting it to be a 9 overall) and be my current game of the year until at least November as I have to see how AC Valhalla and Cyberpunk 2077 end up being for me.

Yeah I hear you on that but main reason your dying is you don’t have all the stances unlocked. The side stuff does that and it makes it way easier to fight spear guys, big dudes and all that.

Yeah, I was dying a lot on Normal at the very beginning of the game when I had no health or weapons besides my sword. I haven’t completed Act 1 yet and have 3 stances unlocked, 4 charms, have the long and short bow and all kinds of good Ghost weapons. I’ve upgraded a lot of my stuff too as I’m doing a lot of side stuff. I’m actually concerned the game isn’t scaling up fast enough with me as I am finding combat fairly easy now. Part is me getting better but I worry that it might get too easy.

Agree with this post. I’m playing on HARD and recently moved to Act 2, but I liberated all 25 locations in the first island, and completed all of the side quests.

Jin felt overpowered by the time I completed Act 1, but that is probably to be expected considering all the upgrades and added abilities I’ve earned since completing all of those side quests.

I noticed a pretty big jump in difficulty immediately after starting Act 2, and I died 10-15 times in my first duel on the beach (the duels are incredible in this game)

I do a couple things to try and keep the difficulty in line with my player upgrades:

1. Turn off the enemy health meter
2. I do not use the “focus” when using stealth. The focus is the listening mechanic from TLOU.
3. Try not to use charms that seem overpowered
4. The only two armor sets I use are the Traveler set and Tadayori Archer set

No not at all, difficultly level is just how well the AI fights.
