Re: 2018 Gaming Plans
I am going to get smashed across the next 18 months.
I exclusively play 2K for 5-6 months of the year, and leave the other games for the other half.
I know Ill be playing Doom, Tomb Raider, Cyberpunk, Anthem, the Division, Just Cause, Assassins Creed, Fallout, Red Dead, We Happy Few, Wolfenstein, Dying Light.
Plus MP shooters like the new Titanfall and BF5.
And Ill have to quit my job of the new Borderlands hits.Comment

Re: 2018 Gaming Plans
Until about 1 month ago the only game I had played was nba2k18 and overall my desire of games outside of that one was starting to slip. I am very picky with the non sports games I play in short I play AAA blockbuster games with good stories that are mostly set in the present day. I don't play online and don't prefer the scifi or AC type games. I have a short attention span so I am not going to play a game for 40 hours and do all the side collection stuff.
I had got rise of the tomb raider on ps4 for about $20 since I enjoyed the last one on PS3. It sit untouched for a few months and then when I played it I loved it and got the fire back for non sports game. My skill level in games isn't good so putting it on easy really helped no matter how fun a game is when I die 5,849 times its not fun. I also was never confused about where to go or what to do outside a few small puzzles. It isn't the best game I have played on PS4, but is the one I had the most fun with (if that makes sense)
I bought "A way out" and I am playing it with my cousin and enjoying it one more time playing it should complete it.
I am still playing NBA2k18 and hope to take a few weeks off before the new one comes out if I can ever win a championship lol. I have 2k19 preordered so watching the offseason unfold to see what team I will do my deep dive my league in.
I had some coupons for GameStop so I picked up Detroit Become Human for under $40 and after about 1 hour playing it I know its going to be a classic. I loved Heavy Rain and this looks like it could be better then it since the voice acting is better.
My friend is going to let me borrow Uncharted Lost Legacy so looking forward to that.
RDR holds a special place in my heart as its the game that got me to enjoy and try non sports game. I am a cheap gamer so I have never payed $60 for a non sports game. I am leaning toward preordering it soon.
If I get caught up before 2k19 comes out I have batman telltale downloaded so I wil try and knock that out before sept.
I still have a buy 2 get 1 free coupon for GameStop so looking at games like far cry 5, horizon 0 dawn, uncharted collection. The coupon expires 7-31 and the next few months is the time for me to play new games without sports, new tv shows and before the fall games come out.
I will try and hold out a till black Friday or so for SpidermanRetro Redemption - Starting over with a oldschool PowerBone Offense

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment

Re: 2018 Gaming Plans
I want to play well in my favorite MMOs like EVE, WoW, PoE or another from this genre. I just like MMOs.
For sure I am thinking about buy wow gold https://mmoauctions.com/world-of-warcraft/gold because I want to improve my gear. In need wow gold because now I do not have too much time for farming and I want to participate in the hardest dungeons and arena.
World of Warcraft is a game published by Blizzard. Now lots of people are waiting to come back with new expansions. Are there any wow freaks?Last edited by tmzcpk; 07-11-2018, 09:37 AM.Comment

It's been a very slow year for me thus far with only Far Cry 5 and God of War being purchased, played and completed. Purchased State of Decay 2 and played it for about 15 hours before quitting and selling it.
Second half of 2018 is so much better but it still sucks that every two out of three years, from September to December is packed. So many empty months.
2019 though will be STACKED throughout. Super hyped and can't wait!!!Comment

Re: 2018 Gaming Plans
I beat GOW (on easy), took Far Cry 4 back (not for me), and my kid is addicted to Titanfall.
I bought Uncharted Lost Legacy, Ghost recon, and Shadow of the Colossus to kill some time until Spidey drops. Still haven't opened Tomb Raider.Comment

Re: 2018 Gaming Plans
Half way through the year and I've pretty much stuck to my schedule:
January = LA Noire (finished the game and all 1000 Gamerscore)
February = Duke Nukem 3D (finished the game and all 1000 Gamerscore)
March = Okami (finished the game but only 600 Gamerscore)
April = Far Cry 5 (finished the game but only 800 Gamerscore)
May = Burnout Paradise Remastered (finished the game but only 600 Gamerscore)
June = Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus (finished the game but only 750 Gamerscore)
I switched around the months for Burnout & Wolfenstein but otherwise stuck to my plan
The schedule for the rest of 2018 remains as follows:
July = South Park: Fractured But Whole
August = Assassin's Creed Origins
September = Assassin's Creed Origins
October = FIFA 2019
November = NBA 2K19
December = Madden NFL 2019 or NHL 2019
Looking forward to finally starting South Park tomorrow!
However I wasn't really keen on it anyway with few features and no new Achievements.Comment

Re: 2018 Gaming Plans
With the half year done, it’s time to update my list. I’ve only completed one game since my last update and I’m not close to finishing another game any time soon.
On the List for 2018 Purchase
Far Cry 5
Red Dead Redemption 2
Detroit: Become Human
God of War
Kingdom Come: Deliverance
Recently Purchased in 2018
Tyranny (PC) – Level 3
X-Com 2 (PC)
Witcher 3 DLC (PC) – Not started yet
Football, Tactics and Glory (PC) – Stupidly addictive
Games Finished in 2018
Rise of the Tomb Raider (PC – Seasoned Raider – 100 per cent) – The Tomb Raider re-boot continues to be very entertaining with a decent enough father-daughter story set in Siberia. It had a lot more tomb exploration and puzzles then the 2013 Tomb Raider which made it more fun for me. The puzzles are still a bit too easy for my liking but that seems to be par for the course in most games. I thought the developer did a good job making stealth an useful element. 8 out of 10
Previously completed this year:
Ghost Recon Wildlands (PS4 – Advanced/Expert– Level 30/Tier 23, 100 per cent)
Bioshock Infinite (PC -- Hard)
Battlefield 1 (PS4 -- Hard) – Single Player Campaign

Just Cause 3 (PS4) -- 59 per cent
Watch Dogs (PS4) – 15.8 per cent
Fallout 4 (PC -- Hard) -- Level 22
Divinity Original Sin Enhanced Edition (PC -- Tactical) – Level 4
