Gamecube Holiday Deal..

I am really tempted to pick this up, for $100 you get:

-Gamecube system
-Mario Kart Double Dash
-Extra Controller(2 total)

Mario Kart is still selling for $50 and a controller is $25, that's $75 worth of extra stuff you get. Or you only pay $25 for the system, either way you look at it, it's an amazing deal.

I think it's worth the price alone for Mario Kart, plus I'd eventually get Zelda and that new Zelda coming next year looks sick. Might just be too tempting to pass up...

Just a quick quesiton though, are memory cards a MUST for the GC? Don't know hardly anything about the system, are the mem cards just extra for transporting saves(like xbox) or are the required to save anything(PS2)?

I know, I honestly only have interest in 4 or 5 games on the whole system, but for that price I will be getting one of those games and the system. I keep thinking about it, probably pick one up next week sometime though, i'm not that great at buying discretion in situations like these.

I picked up this bundle the other day for my daughter, for Christmas. Great deal. As Sully said, the memory card is required for any game saves. You can pick up one that holds 251 blocks (more than enough for at least 10 games) for $19.99.
