Oh no, not 19. I meant it'll go down to the 50 we see today.
"It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

I have no problem paying a little bit more for the next-gen games. If anything it will save me money because I won't buy random games on an impulse and then never end up playing them.

I would cringe if the next console games were $70-$80 which would mean games in Canada would be pushing near $100. I just can't see that happening.

If the prices get too high, more and more people will just pirate the games.

But in terms of EA games, I don't care about the price since I get my games for free anyways.

I tell you what, with being a young father and having to pay real bills every month, if they make the games $70/$80 a game they could very keep that crap. I refuse to pay that much for a game. It's bad enough your gonna have to pay like $500 for the new gen system it sell. If they Change the price of the game I'm won't be buying, I don't crae how powerful the system is period!

And that attitude is the reason why I think we'll see prices slash in half (especially the consoles) within the first year of sales.

I truly believe more people will be hesitant to purchase a console for 350-500 dollars and buy 70-80 dollar games. There will be a rush for the games on launch. But, after the first three months, the companies will see things die down and be forced to lower prices dramatically.

Like I said, I'm going to wait till the second year of release till I purchase the consoles and games. I'll end up saving a load of money compared to the person who got it on launch. I'll just play PC games while I wait.

dang this would severly limit my game buying for ps3 or xbox 2, and i may just have to switch over to pc. I can handle 55-60 max but not anything more then that
Just wait till Arsenal moves into Emirates Stadium.

It would cost more to play games on a pc. You'll have to buy a new graphics card every few months. Not to mention the other upgrades you're going to need.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

Yeah, I've been priced out of PC Gaming for some time now. I just can't afford to keep up with the technology and I will not pay $50 for a game I'm going to have to dumb down (turn down graphic details, etc) so that it will run smoothly on my system.
