    Re: Assassin's Creed Odyssey

Did anyone else with the Gold steelbook edition get and extra season pass code? I redeemed 1 and i have the 2 extra missions and it says the season pass is installed via the in game store.

I went to see what the second code would give me and it says gold content which the first did too.

I guess i could sell it to someone with the standard edition or deluxe edition. The one on the right hasnt been redeemed, pm me if interested.

I'm playing on PS4 Pro and only got one code in the case. The Season Pass is $40 and includes both AC III and AC III Liberation Remastered that release early next year. You should try to sell the season pass if you can.

So I gave in and got the Gold edition today. Great game so far, but something is really, really grinding my gears. The audio and the mouths aren't synced... in fact, they're nearly a full second off from each other. I've completely restarted the game three times but am still getting the lag. Anyone else experiencing this? It's certainly not a game breaker, but it makes the otherwise beautiful cutscenes somewhat obnoxious. One of those things, once you notice it, you can't unnotice it.

It could be your TV. I know i had to adjust my Samsung KS8000 for a game before

My television is perfectly synced with every other game I play, so I'm thinking that may not be it. I guess I'll completely uninstall the game, turn the system off for a bit, reboot, reinstall and try again. This is the first AC I've actually purchased since Black Flag and I was really hoping to get a good experience. Ah well.

Doesn't hurt to change the setting, could just be off by 1 point. Reinstalling isn't going to fix that. There's obviously a delay happening between the console and TV. Change the settings or try another hdmi cable.

Any comments on the nemesis’s system? Saw a comment online and if it’s like Mordor that’s would be cool.

Can’t wait to play. Not digging the auto scaling of enemies tho.

I like auto scaling for open worlds as too much progression can make things too easy. But I’d prefer an option for it. DAI had one and it’s a good idea.

Uninstalling and reinstalling the game fixed my cutscene/audio lag problem, if anyone else encounters it.

This game is absolutely massive. Almost overwhelming. I'm enjoying it. Like I mentioned, this is the first AC that I've purchased since Black Flag. I toyed around with Origins but couldn't even get in to it. Odyssey is hitting the spot.

Curious what you didn't like about Origins. Was one of the best AC in recent memory and a huge leap forward IMO.

Odyssey pretty much emulates Origins. Odyssey makes some good changes tho, more exploration, more RPG like, etc....but both are very similar, and both are gorgeous to look at. Ubisoft has been killing it with their game worlds these last two installments.

Let me know how the port runs (and what CPU you have if you don't mind). I got so mad with Origins stuttering. I read it's not as CPU heavy this year but now a 980 TI can't run it at 1080/60. I'm just hoping my rig can brute force its way past Ubisoft's port laziness.

I tried playing Assassin's Creed last few years, I honestly just can't get into it. The stories seem ok. But, I just can't get hooked on them. There always seems to be other games that come out around this time that keeps my attention over these. The last one I think I played mostly through was Assassin's Creed 3. I think something happened where I wasn't able to advance to the next level for some reason.

Honestly, my whole thing is I don't think there needs to be consistent releases. Since the first release in 2007, I think there has only been like 2 years where there hasn't been a release. I'm surprised the game has lasted for 11 years with consistent releases pretty much on a yearly basis. Last several years, they have tried to keep it unique with different stories. But, IMO the game loses its luster when it constantly releases
