It's not perfect but the enemy AI is so much better in this game than the last one and than a lot of other games. It makes for an enjoyable experience.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

There is no way that one single shot would pinpoint my exact location to the enemy like that. At least make them scramble a bit more, hide behind cover, or scan for the target rather than knowing exactly where i am from one shot while hiding halfway down the block.
I've always hated this about ai in some games.

I'm sorry, but you must be living under a rock if you didn't already know about the end game stuff. It's been all over gaming media for months.

Living under a rock or you just don’t pay attention to “gaming media” at all. Which is definitely not too hard to do.

Yeah, this was my biggest hurdle and learning curve to this game, actually changing and adapting my tactics to the improved enemy AI. I was trying to just hold a line in the sand and stay behind a certain area of cover and try to kill all enemies with my assault rifle or marksman rifle.

I learned by force and many deaths that that's not possible anymore in this game because those enemies will move, they will flank you, and they will charge you and try to surround you if you just sit in one spot and never move. Now I try not to linger in one spot very long, staying on the move so enemies can't get around or behind me. It's made me much more successful both on the streets and in missions. Only times I've gotten in trouble now have been running into elites and named elites along with multiple other enemies, usually the last wave or two of missions as the number of enemies dramatically increases and I'm suddenly trying not to get overrun.

Even though this game JUST released, I'm going to ask the question, since I found a comm collectible that got me thinking.

I'm thinking The Division may become a regular Ubisoft franchise next to Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, Watch Dogs, Splinter Cell and Rainbow Six.

The Green Poison has spread outside the US to other countries. Assuming Ubisoft does end up making a The Division 3 in 2022 (since it was three years from 1 to 2), where do you think The Division 3 would be located? Would it be in another US city or a city in another country?

I'm thinking, if it was in the US again, maybe Denver, Chicago or San Francisco. If it's outside the US, I could see Toronto or London being two potential locations.

I've thought Atlanta or Pittsburgh if they stayed on the east coast, but I wouldn't be surprised if they want to take the series west next title. Chicago does seem like another likely candidate. Boston would be neat, but Atlanta/Pittsburgh are what I would lean towards now for no other reason than a gut feeling if they don't go west.

They should have hit Philly first after NYC, on their way to DC. Just Sayin.

Interesting conversation though, about The Division 3. Here's hoping they continue with the 3 year span between titles. No reason to think otherwise, I'd just hate to see another annual release cycle...

That would suck if this turned into a yearly thing. It won’t though.
