Re: The Division 2
I am a fan of the double barrel shotgun and the sawed off shotgun. Currently got an Aug that is an elite boss killer and a M4 I think. I know on up until level 17 I rolled with a M60 and a double barrel shotgun. When one of those crazies ran up on me I blew them away with the double barrel. I also basically put extended clips on all my weapons.
Currently a level 23 or 24 now. Running solo have been fine for the most part. A few missions I rolled with randoms. I can't imagine how easy the game would be if you rolled with a full squad. Just having one other person is basically all you need. But yeah I like to explore. Hard to do that with other people since majority of the randoms I rolled with just run passed all the loot.Comment

Does the AI not scale up with how many people are in your squad? It sure feels like it at times.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

The real game starts after level 30 and it’s not easy at all with a full squad. Especially if your whole squad doesn’t have fine tuned builds.Comment

Ienjoy using the pistol to keep things fresh, adds a nice, self-imposed challenge at times.

Re: The Division 2
Pretty sure it does.
I've been hesitant to try shottys. Probably because I'm so partial to my Snioer/Rifle + LMG combo. Seems most efficient in my mind, though I want try shotguns.

Shotguns can be fun. I have a few different loadouts and one is specifically for me being the CQC player in the squad and I use a shotgun and CTAR on it. The shotgun can be deadly. I love the damage of double barrels, but the 2 shots and long reload irk me so I stick with the 870.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

Re: The Division 2
Is armor or health more important? Or does it matter?
Meaning if I pick up a new piece of gear that raises armor but drops health, is it worth it? Or should I only change if it upgrades both?Comment

Re: The Division 2
It’s personal preference at that point I’d say. If you have some gear/guns that give you health on kill or health regen id go with the more armor. Or if you are using skills that replenish armor go with the more health. There’s a few things that could influence that decision.
With that being said until you get to end game you should be fine just simply going with the higher numbers and not even looking that deep into it.Comment

Re: The Division 2
Questing regarding the end game content -
SpoilerFor the specializations skill trees, must I have the weapon equipped in order to get the skill? For example, my primary weapon is the assault rifle and in the Bow tree, there's a skill that increases the damage output for the assault rifles. Is the skill connected to the equipped weapon or can I have any of the three special weapons equipped and still get the skill? Thanks.Comment

Re: The Division 2
Maybe for a casual gamer and even then you'd had to have seen bits of information somewhere.

Really not sure why it’s so hard to understand that we have the ability to avoid any info we don’t want. I’d consider myself much more than a casual gamer and that would have been spoiled for me if I wasn’t already to that point. Not that being a casual gamer or not matters here anyways.
It’s not that difficult to accomplish. I watched 0 state of the games before launch and I don’t really visit any gaming websites unless looking for something specific.Comment

Re: The Division 2
Finally made it to the end game. WTF.....
SpoilerNot a fan of the Black Tusk. They are way over powered and make the storyline wonky. Trying to tell me with all that weaponry they have, they had to wait until I got rid of the other 3 factions for them ? LOL yeah right. The specialization to me is kind of a let down. My 50 cal sniper rifle don't do as much damage as I thought it would. Used it against an outcast and was devastated with how little damage it did.
Far as the main story line, I thought it was better then The Division 1. Game crashed a few times on me, including on the final mission. Over all I give the game a 8 out of 10. I don't like how your character get stuck on random BS during the heat of battle when you are being shot. Also don't like when you are trying to dive, your character goes into cover on the absolute worse spot possible.
I also feel they should have gave the Black Tush their own map. Made them a DLC.Comment

Not happy with the specializations at all. Seems like none of them do any damage. The sniper rifle bullets seems to go through enemies because I don't notice any difference, damage or impact whatsoever. Agree with the character getting stuck sometimes and when diving out of cover, you automatically go into cover if you're close to it. The Bow seems to also go through enemies. In general, when aiming the Bow/Grenade launcher and when using bombs, I wish the camera would go up so you could see down and where exactly the grenade will land. Didn't have any crashes or disconnects. Had one freeze which I had to close the application and restart the game. Enjoyed the story and loved all the story (and side) missions. Definitely better than the original game. For me, as I just finished the second run and am waiting for next Friday, the game is an excellent 9.0/10. A few negatives but a huge improvement over the original in nearly every way.Comment
