I get that Fallout is always janky (it shouldn't be, but is)....but this is kinda crazy for a game that's always online...

So glad I got this free w/my X1X. I would be pissed if I paid $60 for this.

Re: Fallout 76
Same. I’m having a great time playing solo and it’s even better playing with a group. Sucks to be a person who can’t enjoy this just because it’s not fallout 5. Playing in an online fallout world is a great time.Comment

Sucks to not want people to be individuals and like what they like.Comment

Fallout 76
Eh...I think there are a ton of people who love fallout who won’t even give this game a chance because it’s not exactly what they want. Which is fine. It is what it is though. As a person who likes fallout I think it sucks to be one of those people. They can do what they want obviously though.Comment

Re: Fallout 76
i think most players want guidance in the game. I probably need it as well, unless i have someone playing with me, then the enjoyment is just running around and doing random stuff with others.Toronto Blue Jays

Re: Fallout 76
Let me kick this dead horse once more.
Was pretty upset after beta. Game itself looks gorgeous (like fallout 4 did), but it feels empty and pointless sometimes. Craft system is great, exploration too, but all you can do is to interact with objects and dead bodies (when the game allows you to do so). I can't say that 76 is a complete failure, but it's too crowded for a solo gaming and not dynamic enough for a mmo.Comment

Re: Fallout 76
Enjoying the game doesn't disregard it's issues. The UI and controls are a disaster, to put it lightly. There are bugs and annoyances, but the end result is a multiplayer Fallout universe, that IMO, is fun.
This is definitely one of those games that goes against the grain and will be scrutinized to the nth degree. Fair or unfair.
It's ok to not enjoy the game, whatever the reason. But if you're only going of reviews and hearsay, I'd suggest giving the game a legit chance before completely giving up on it.

Re: Fallout 76
Picked it up at the 33% off sale.
I figure that they will def support it for a long time and it will likely end up good.
It may take a few months, but I enjoyed Fallout 4 and feel comfortable jumping in at the lower price.Comment

Re: Fallout 76
There's so many good games out right now that deserve my time that I think it's just best to wait six months for Bethesda to fix all the issues and improve the game before I think about a purchase. I think six months to a year from now it will be a much better game.Comment

Re: Fallout 76
Well, after a day of playing, I regret buying it even at the reduced price.
Near the end of a long battle....servers dropped.
Took ages to reload...and had to do it all again.
Dropped again near the end.
Repeat....only this time I respawned as just my head.
My body graphic was missing.
This game is simply a mess. It should have been delayed.Comment
