Sci-Fi, First person RPG, from my favorite developer, yep that will do nicely.

Looks pretty awesome and from a great developer. However, I don’t know what’s up with this new trend (from CD Projekt Red and now Obsidian) is only allowing the PC to play in first person. I love walking around towns and being able to see my character and the armor/clothing I pick out.

Furthermore, the fact that the gun is pointing straight out the whole time in Outer Worlds is a little distracting. They really need to make it where the gun is lowered unless the left trigger is pulled or something. Having dialogue with friendly NPC’s while pointing a gun right in their face quickly breaks immersion for me.

You can see what your character looks like when you go to the inventory screen and holstering Guns has been confirmed by the community manager.



As they are aiming for mainstream success with this, I'm not expecting it to be too but with guys like Cain & Boyarski, they should be able to easily outdo Todd/Starfield, even being semi conscious.

Looks good! Those guys know how to make RPGs. Not going to be as glitzy as the AAA but will be solid foundation.

Hmm.. This game looks promising. When i was watching trailer I thought about this stream. Don't get me wrong, I am huge fan of Obsidian games. But Bethesda participation worries me a lot.

It got great reviews. I feel like I need to complete Fallout 4 before I jump in.
