The completely cavalier way that the scientist acts when your pod lands on your contact at the beginning of the game ensured that this was a must buy for me.

For me, it was the first conversation between your character and ADA. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

We are 75% done. We are on the two DLC’s and the final mission. Going to do the two DLCs first (because of save reasons) and then the finale.

Man.....this game has been incredible. I have role played to be a scum bag pirate. And I have reveled in it 100%.

I actually went on a bloody rampage in Byzantium and wiped out the entire city with Nyoka and Felix.....total blast!!!

Man.....this game has been incredible. I have role played to be a scum bag pirate. And I have reveled in it 100%.

I actually went on a bloody rampage in Byzantium and wiped out the entire city with Nyoka and Felix.....total blast!!!

Hehehe, you having a good time with this game made me come back for a second playthrough way earlier than I originally wanted or expected.

But no matter how hard I try I can't force myself to being a totally bad guy. Some of the characters who make you think they'd deserved the rampage, in the end you just... I don't know... feel sorry for them? (Looking at you, Reed Tobson.)

Nevermind, I am going with a male character this time, older and stronger than the previous one (a dignified lady in her mid-thirties), more of a melee type than a sniper, relying more on intimidation than persuasion, good at hacking but miserable at lockpicking (and it shows), and with low science skills but very, very high leadership to hopefully make my companions (especially Parvati) make a real difference.

I also upped the difficulty... from easy (story mode) to normal, lol. And it adds a level of strategy I never really needed before, both in deciding in which order I'd do some of the quests as well as in actual combat.

But the main points of my second playthrough are a) to find as many sidequests I originally missed as possible (and similarly, avoid those I already know), and b) try finding a completely different set of companions (except for Parvati, who is a must, and I'd have no problem with spending all game with just her alone), and c) make a different choices at some crucial spots than I did during the first playthrough (Edgewater, Monarch and Gorgon, to name a few).

This time, I will also play this as "only" a sidekick / change of pace to whatever "main game" I decide to play next (I actually know exactly which one it's going to be, lol), so it might take much longer to finish with less overall time spent on it, but hey, I already know what I am going into so there's no need to rush. I am just going to lay back and fully enjoy the ride.

Man, it feels so good to be along Parvati and ADA once again...

I also started a new playthrough after seeing this thread updated. Not too far in yet, but another thing that I love about this game is that you are not critically penalized for not pumping a bunch of points into making your character smart. In fact, there are some pretty fun dialog choices that pop up because your character is dumb.

I also started a new playthrough after seeing this thread updated. Rooting for you to appreciate the investment. Mine was around €40 because after playing the base game first couple of hours I already knew I need to get the DLCs as well.

This game deserves every fan it can get.

I was replaying Prey, but now on Mass Effect Legendary Edition....this should be next on my list of RPGs to replay....I will have to do something different than sniper though.

Glad to see other people discovering this game, it is one of my favorite games ever. This game was made with a AA budget and you can see where they had to cut corners, but TOW 2 is expected to be a full fledged AAA experience.

Unfortunately I am not purchasing an XBOX S or X for one game.....maybe if the next Elder Scrolls game looks incredible and I hear it is incredible....I can find my way to getting an XBOX. I probably poured 500 hours into Skyrim and still play that game (remastered version now).

Time will tell.

This game was a joy to play and was the perfect length IMO. I probably put in just over 35 hours into it and completed every mission/side mission (a couple failed because of devious choices I made lol).

And the AA budget I think also gave it some of th charm I experienced.

Yeah we will end up getting an X at some point. Most likely 2023. I can wait. My backlog on my PS5 is insane (all PS4 games of course).

I just picked up this game on the PSN store for under $20. Great game so far, love the characters.

Question, can you go back and finish any missions that you missed after the end game? I've read mixed answers on this, some saying once you beat the game you can't go back and others are saying you can.
