I am really looking forward to a couple of games in 2024. One is "Star Wars Outlaws" and the other one is "Tekken 8". And of-course after that it will be "GTA VI" that is set to release in 2025.

        Re: Upcoming Games

        Updates!!:

Standing by for Phantom Blade Zero, Star Wars Outlaws, Madden 25 & NCAA College football. GTA VI will probably be a good one as well.

As far as current gaming, I spazzed out the past two weeks and went game craaazy! First there was a resurgence with my love for all things Macross/Robotech, classic show that I loved during my childhood. Did some research and found that while there aren't many games here in the U.S., Japan has a PLETHORA of Macross titles and they all look great!

        Current gaming fix:

        1. Macross 30 (Japanese import PS3). Just received the game, now standing by for the imported PS3 to arrive.

        2. Purchased Armored Core VI, Gods of War, and Remnant II via Steam yesterday and I'm slowly getting hooked on Remnant II, amazing game!

        3. Madden 24 every now and then.

        4. Undisputed Boxing (Early release)

        5. UFC 5 (begrudgingly lol), not really a solid release, but it has a career mode (even though it's super bare bones).

        6. In anticipation of a PS5 purchase soon, I picked up God of War Ragnarok, Horizon Forbidden West, Uncharted The Lost Legacy, Uncharted 4 A Thief's End, Watch Dogs Legion, and God of War (Remastered).

I also have a LEGION of other Xbox Series X titles that are collecting digital dust (wish you could do digital trades lol). Played a few minutes of RDR 2 every now and then, haven't touched Starfield since the first 10 minutes of play after release lol, and so on and so forth.

Yooooo!! That looks insane! I HAVE to get a PS5 as they get all of the best exclusives. I currently have a Series X, gaming laptop, and a Japanese import PS3. For the moment it seems none of them collectively can match the few Ps5 exclusives that are on/ or coming to the market. What say you guys?

Same. I have been avoiding getting a PS5 as I couldn't justify it will how little I play my Series X, but I will probably end up getting one soon because of all the exclusives I could be missing out on.

Guys, I don’t have so much time now, but I can wait for Blade Runner and the new Star Wars. Neither to say, I’m excited for the new GTA, even though we have to wait one more year.

I wasn't in a position financially in 2013 to have a capable computer for resource-demanding games. Having gotten a set-up that should last me decent, with options to expand as well, I'm really looking forward to many games on the horizon.

I hope that EA blesses the community and releases College Football for PC as well, but I'll be playing it on Series X regardless. I look forward to having online dynasties again as I once was a part here at OS.

                        Re: Upcoming Games

A game to keep an eye out. Delayed until March 4, it will launch for PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG. Console (PS5/XBX/S) launches later this year.

The Thaumaturge is an isometric, story-rich RPG with a unique take on turn-based combat, character development features, and investigation mechanics, facing you with morally ambiguous choices—set in a world teeming with mysterious powers and strange ethereal beings called Salutors.

The year is 1905. Warsaw lives under the yoke of imperial Russian tsardom. Its inhabitants constitute a diverse group of different ancestries, views, and beliefs with often conflicting interests: Russian soldiers, Jewish merchants, Polish townspeople, and more. Despite the circumstances, the city is a buzzing metropolis, where one can attend a breathtaking party with the high society, and later get robbed in one of the dark alleys of the Praga district. A city of great hopes and dreams on one hand and dark desires on the other.

In this world, a force that cannot be ignored are Thaumaturges—individuals versed in taming spirit-like beings called Salutors, used for manipulation of the temperaments and affinities of other people and even ultimately in combat. The devil is in the detail—only Thaumaturges are fully aware of the Salutors’ nature and only they can perceive them in their true essence. Their capability to influence others significantly and demonstrably increases their ability to change the surrounding world—however, Thaumaturgy is a power that should be used with caution.

Rise of Ronin comes out on the 22nd. I was super excited for this game when it was announced, and the recent Shogun series makes me want it even more.

Combat looks like a turn off though. Hopefully there is a "realism" mode like Ghosts of Tsuhima introduced after launch, but it's just weird seeing guys get up after being shot multiple times and stabbed straight through.

I've never heard of any of these games but after watching multiple trailers, I'm quite intrigued. As someone with very limited knowledge of the series, is it engaging enough to keep you coming back? How many hours of enjoyment are built in?
