Lol I do... I've seen reviews all over the place... One was 14 hours, another has 20 and another has 30.

Guess we'll find out.

IDK about time, but I did see that the main story is only 8 missions.

Wish it had the counter system like the previous Batman games and the combat feels a bit hollow and disjointed. It seems half decent, but I can’t write any letters home about it at the moment as I’ll need more playtime (was able to get roughly 20 minutes in last night after the family went to sleep and wasn’t really dialed all the way in). Just played through the opening with batgirl.

IDK about time, but I did see that the main story is only 8 missions.

That can't be right, I'm looking at the back of the box right now... Says a deep cinematic campaign, 8 missions definitely isnt that.

Im really bummed the campaign is that short, really dont understand this isnt like COD where have online multiplayer to pair with a short campaign.

Hoping the 10-14 hours I saw is wrong.

Just a quick google search and I've been seeing about 12-14 hours for story-focused playthroughs and that's consistent with the storyline campaigns for all the Arkham games - all of which were in that same ball park for story-focused playthroughs. That's not a bad-sized game and doesn't even include the side quests.

Just a quick google search and I've been seeing about 12-14 hours for story-focused playthroughs and that's consistent with the storyline campaigns for all the Arkham games - all of which were in that same ball park for story-focused playthroughs. That's not a bad-sized game and doesn't even include the side quests.

I actually forgot about this game coming out.

But I think the side quest point is a very important one to consider. There are many games that have shorter storylines but a huge amount of side content. It definitely makes games feel bigger.

I do love a good side quest or 27.

After a bit more playtime I can see myself liking this. The RPG level up system seems leagues deep and the world appears to be extensive with much land to cover (hope there’s Easter eggs and other things to discover). However, FPS needs to be increased and combat, while decent, still seems to lack “weight”.

To be far the arkham games where also only around 12 hours long if you don't do everthing a little longer if you do everthing but also the combat challenge maps added so much replay value. Does this game have those type of things still? Not sure about story DLC but they did announce some kind of 4 player thing being added for free end of November. Sounds like 30 floors of fighting or something.

I wonder how fast this game will go on sale. I may pick it up once it's only like $30 or something. I never understood the whole 30 or 60 fps being I cant even tell the difference but I am hearing that its not a stable 30 fps and that is a issue. Maybe they can patch it later I don't know but the combination of the frame rate not being stable and also the fact we don't have the arkham combat and last the mixed reviews makes me think I should wait. I was iffy on this game leading up to launch but was hoping it would turn out great has I love batman and spiderman the 2 superhero's I love.

Yea I looked up the other Batman games, didnt realize those stories were 12-15 hours as well… They seemed much longer, turns out not the case.

Sorry fellas, didnt mean for all the freak out posts… Just looking for a game to play for a good long while.

Looks like Ive found my game!

I've enjoyed the game a lot so far. I have some minor gripes (too many one liners the biggest one), but I'm having fun.
