Online MP was outstanding stuff. Maybe once we get a full understanding of all the maps (they're not very big), we might get bored of it. But I doubt it! Some maps we did over and over, and it was pretty different each time around, even though some of them were very direct (grab the item at point A and get to point B). The stealth factor, so to speak, is pretty cool online, where it's hard to tell where anyone is until that first fire order gets unleashed.
I almost enjoyed our 1 on 1 games the most, when we each had 2 squads. But I think a little more comfort about the controls and tactics will make 2 on 2 absolutely great. With the squad and yourself, it's almost like you have 4 groups when you have a teammate. On that map with the truck we did at the end, I used my guys as the fire team and myself as the assault team for that final push. That BTW was an all-time online MP highlight for me, succeeding at that mission with FIFA as time was failing, taking out whoever it was trying to disarm the charge. That was so much fun I can't begin to describe it!
Let's just say I'm glad I didn't give in to my trepidation, and I hope there are more guys getting the game, to get in games online because online is tons of fun. Maybe the depressed expectations are serving me well, in that it's surpassing those expectations with grace and ease.
Good stuff, Gearbox. Now they have to patch the online problems. One d/c is too many, and we had 3 or 4 among the 4 of us last night. No bouncy firends list, though.
Man, with this, First to Fight arriving too soon, RS:Lockdown, and later SC:CT coming; too many good games, too little time. Now to get back to my WE ML for a game sometime soon . . .Comment

You know we'll still have our GR2 Poker Nights, and we can mix some BIA in there as well. I plan on picking up the game this evening. Hopefully, I'll be able to jump online with it tonight.
No jumping friends list sealed the deal!Comment

Sully:
A Kieron Dyer avatar? Come on, man, I know he scored the winner against Bolton, but the guy is a puke. A real cancer in the dressing room. They call him "60 Grand" in the team because all he talks about is that he's on 60 grand per week for pay.
Shearer is my favorite, as you know. Now that Big Al is retiring after this season, I need to find a new King Magpie. I do like Jenas, but my emerging young favorite player on the team is defender Steven Taylor.

Something tells me that my avatar after the Liverpool match won't be celebratory.
Back to the topic...just pick up the game PK!
