    Re: Elder Scrolls Online

I really want to find a good sword-and-board build for a class, as I feel that's my favorite gameplay in here.

Maybe a dual-wield Nightblade build as well if there are any good ones. Not a fan of 2H/Ranged in this game personally.

Essentially what I did. Breton Templar with a focus on destruction and offensive Templar abilities with a bit of healing. The one healing ability I use (Breath of Life) heals up to 3 people, and it certainly came in handy in the couple of dungeons me and my buddies ran this morning. However, I have my destruction and Aedric Spear/Dawn's Wrath offensive abilities up enough that I can DPS in between heals and deal quite a bit of damage.

I'm definitely having a lot of fun with the playstyle. I'll eventually make a sword and board tank, but for now, I'm just gonna focus on one character.

No Idea what build I want.

I got a archer that's focused on bow skills and DPS with medium armor.

Then I got a sorc. I'm focusing on summoning but can't deside what else I'm doing. My plan is to stay with summoning and use my restoration staff and heal. The thing I'm unsure about is what type of armor to wear. Do I want to go heavy and try to not be as squishy with health or light for magica.

Anyone struggling with leveling black smithing I've found a good way. Basically run around the market and take all weapons and armor u fine as well as in the black smith area then break down the stolen items. I've jumped almost to 20 doing this.

I'll re-roll to Daggerfall if that is what the decision is for the guild. I heard Terry heavy breathing into the mic in guild chat last night and it made me wish I was closer to him.

Couldn't be me because I don't even have a mic connected. That's odd.

Actually, now that you mention it--I do have the Gold headset or whatever with the integrated mic but I try to mute that every time I turn it on, if I'm even using the headset.

Mainly because my house is like 100 f'n degrees and I have 2 fans aimed at me all the time that oscillate. So at least take comfort that if you DID hear something, it wasn't me mouth-breathing into the mic

I would like to test that, though, because if I've got it muted and it's NOT muted, then there goes the idea of using that headset at any point anymore.

How do you use guild chat? Is it an option in the Voice menu? Also, how do you find your guild members while playing? Sorry, this is all new to me and trying to grasp everything is overwhelming. I am still trying to figure out everything in the solo quests.
Anybody want to set-up a guild meet up on Friday night? Maybe get a bunch of us together and play some dungeons? I should be on quite a bit Friday night and through the weekend.

Guild chat is on by default, as is local chat. You can change those if you pause, then social, then I think it's labeled chat, then you can choose which channels to hear (I always turn local off, too many people with obnoxious open mics).

I picked up a second copy for the wife's PS4 and got her to try it last night. While the leveling and general progression is slowwwwwwwwww, I strangely had a lot more fun. But she's an Elf-lover, so I had to play on Aldmeri Dominion. Yuck.
