Re: Not sure if this game will hold my interest like CoH
Injun, my NE druid is enchanting/tailor. I can make magical clothes and disenchant them to create ingredients for my enchanting spells or sell them. So tailoring and enchanting do work together IMO.Originally posted by injunwal -

yeah, it wouldn't make a lot of sense to go leatherworking, blacksmithing, or alchemy with tailoring or enchanting (well, we could if I (or someone) decided to just create a gathering char (herbs/mining or whatever)). Usually you'd like to pair up your production skill with the appropriate gathering skill (unless like I mentioned above, most guilds set up structures where people gather, and others are the primary blacksmith, leatherworker, etc)Originally posted by TheTruthInjun, my NE druid is enchanting/tailor. NOw that is seems like the game will eventually point to groups what characters would be essential. In CoH a Emp. defender was a must for Task force missions and higher levels.Last edited by injunwal; 12-08-2004, 11:48 AM.Actually...believe it or not from my physique... I'm a light eater - Clay T. mages are the biggest damage class there is (they're just pretty fragile)Originally posted by injunwalNow that there are some signs of grouping are we going to need a mage? I bit the bullet in CoH so maybe I could do it for WoW. Although I would prefer to actaully be able to attack this time around
priests are the healers (IIRC)
I like my hunter, but not totally sure if I want to continue that, so I'm thinking of throwing together some other char, warrior, pally, mage, warlock, whatever...
I've got a priest at 9, I could keep her moving up, just wasn't totally digging her cause you really do need group help with a priest...Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

forgot about hte priest being the healer. I just hit the website and saw that Mage deal a lot of damage. But they are useless in close quarters fighting.Originally posted by mgobluemages are the biggest damage class there is (they're just pretty fragile)

Re: Not sure if this game will hold my interest like CoH
Yea..that is why I like the Druid. I have a few healing spells and can deal damage long range and hold enemies too. I also have the buffs to put on myself and others. Close quarters I'm not great but gets the job done, especially when I shapeshift. But I am fragile too, but since you can cast healing spells on yourself it works out ok (shapeshifting also helps out here too).
The paladin seems like a good one too, a warrior type with healing spells.Last edited by TheTruth; 12-08-2004, 12:39 PM.Comment
