    Question for people who hae played with a Druid.

    Professions

    Enchanting sounds nice but there is not a really a profession that goes hand in hand with it. Do you think the profession of Enchanting and (something else) is the way to go? My other option would be Herbalism and Alchemy.

    Has anyone tried Tailoring? Would that be a good to team with Enchanting. I know they do not go hand in hand but they seem like the only two pfrofessions that are not helpoed out greatly by another
    Injun, my NE druid is enchanting/tailor. I can make magical clothes and disenchant them to create ingredients for my enchanting spells or sell them. So tailoring and enchanting do work together IMO.

      yeah, it wouldn't make a lot of sense to go leatherworking, blacksmithing, or alchemy with tailoring or enchanting (well, we could if I (or someone) decided to just create a gathering char (herbs/mining or whatever)). Usually you'd like to pair up your production skill with the appropriate gathering skill (unless like I mentioned above, most guilds set up structures where people gather, and others are the primary blacksmith, leatherworker, etc)

          NOw that is seems like the game will eventually point to groups what characters would be essential. In CoH a Emp. defender was a must for Task force missions and higher levels.

              mages are the biggest damage class there is (they're just pretty fragile)

              priests are the healers (IIRC)

              I like my hunter, but not totally sure if I want to continue that, so I'm thinking of throwing together some other char, warrior, pally, mage, warlock, whatever...

              I've got a priest at 9, I could keep her moving up, just wasn't totally digging her cause you really do need group help with a priest...

                  forgot about hte priest being the healer. I just hit the website and saw that Mage deal a lot of damage. But they are useless in close quarters fighting.

                      CoH Translation:

                      Mage = Blaster
                      Warrior = Tank
                      Rogue = Scrapper
                      Priest = Emp Defender

                      The others are mixes of classes.

                          Yea..that is why I like the Druid. I have a few healing spells and can deal damage long range and hold enemies too. I also have the buffs to put on myself and others. Close quarters I'm not great but gets the job done, especially when I shapeshift. But I am fragile too, but since you can cast healing spells on yourself it works out ok (shapeshifting also helps out here too).

                          The paladin seems like a good one too, a warrior type with healing spells.
