What ever, you guys can think what ever you want. But it is a cry for help. But keep thinking this lady is bad. I hear what you are saying, but to judge a lady on one act regardless of how bad it was is wrong. But I just see things difference. It probably is my back ground in Psychology, but you never know what made her say all this. All I am saying he should try to save his marriage if he can. That was the whole part. And if you are so tired of the !!!!!!!!!! well sorry! Because that wont stop, I have try trust me I have! lol

Re: ANOTHER BAD DAY!!!
I agree with you 100% what she did was wrong and needs to take responsilbity, for sure. But I am just saying to end a marriage becasue of this might be worst. Unless she wants no part of him then I can see that. But marriage is for better and worst.Originally posted by NYG_MethScott, for the love of God, either mix in some other forms of punctuation, or cut out the exclamation points altogether. It's ridiculous already. I'm sorry to hear about your previous state of deep depression, but to assume that others have no idea how that can be, and to completely absolve someone who is deeply depressed from any guilt is completely ignorant and ludicrous. Tons of people are depressed, but do you seriously think that defense would hold up in court?Comment

[QUOTE=pk500]Scott:
Is "The Jerry Springer Show" a road map for your life? Some of your answers astonish me.
People aren't perfect. No one is. But adults need to have enough self-discipline, responsibility for their actions, and love and caring for their offspring to avoid such damaging statements in front of their child.
If they can't do that, then a vasectomy or tube-tying is recommended. Or industrial strength rubbers or diaphragms, at the very least.
It's sad or bad enough -- take your pick -- that this woman is f*cked up. But she shouldn't take her child along on her twisted ride. That's the definition of selfishness.
Well, parents have done worst things then this! But I agree, I just can see both side that is all. It is all good. Actually my life is great now. And I believe heavy in principle always have. But having gone through this depression I did, I guess I have a new outlook!Comment

You got that right, but it is hard being a dad. I have been one only for 4 years. But the scary thing is he a sponge. That is scary! Soaks everything in.Originally posted by pk500Sam:
Keep that attitude, and you're going to be a hell of a dad some day.

No one ever said it is easy. It's the toughest job you'll ever love. I have three kids.Originally posted by ScottdYou got that right, but it is hard being a dad. I have been one only for 4 years. But the scary thing is he a sponge. That is scary! Soaks everything in.
But saying your kid might be an orphan in front of that kid is not proper parenting. Period. It's trailer trash, regardless of this broad's "pain" and "cries for help."
You don't use a child as a platform for your "cry for help" or whatever shrink term you want to use. Ever.
The need for personal responsibility trumps anything else. This woman can be responsible and seek help for her possible problems. They're not mutally exclusive. And giving of oneself to another -- in this case a child -- provides happiness and stability because it's not all about you and your "pain."
There's also religion as a rock during tough times, for those who believe and practice like me. Never underestimate the power of prayer.
I just wish the original poster and his daughter all the luck and best in the world. I really feel for them. That's more important than any of this psycho-babble.

Re: ANOTHER BAD DAY!!!
Ok Brother here is the question of the day? Should he try to work on his marriage or because of what she did move on! This is my whole point If you are regilous like you say you are then I know your answer. I have two Bible degrees and was a Pastor, so I have my own answer.
And you are right about it being very white trash, but it more then just that. a lot of people say worst things to their kids. I guess I just believe in forgiving and forgetting. But everyone is different!Comment

Ok, if I was giving Psycho babble I can't help you there! I am just saying the Bible says love and forgive not comdemn and judge! lol I am not saying what she did was right it was terrible no doubt, but if it was me I try to save my marriage. That is all I am saying, go save your marriage.Originally posted by pk500No one ever said it is easy. It's the toughest job you'll ever love. I have three kids.

Of course he should try to work on his marriage. But why is the onus being placed on him in all of these posts?Originally posted by ScottdOk Brother here is the question of the day? I think the wife needs to work a hell of a lot harder on her marriage than the husband, in this case. She just seems to be running away.
Bottom line: They have to do what's best for their child, and it's clear that's not a major concern of the mother.

i agree...seems like his wife wasn't really communicating how she felt about things (over time), instead letting it stew until it exploded.Originally posted by pk500Of course he should try to work on his marriage. But why is the onus being placed on him in all of these posts?

I agree, you are right on there! I guess I have undersatnding, becasue I work at J. Hall. And the stories I hear about the parents with their kids break my heart. But she needs to get help. But the reason I place the responsiblity on the husband, is becasue he is the stronger vessle and it is his role.Originally posted by pk500Of course he should try to work on his marriage.
