    So then..... you'd be saying that there is a risk of exercising before you've fully developed and doing harm to your body? That's the question I'm looking to answer.

    Oh and I'm not doing heavy lifting or anything, I'm more doing repetition over strength training.

      No there's no reason for you not to work out as a 13-year old. If you want to, then work out. The difference is working out as a 5 year old and a 13 year old. If you're in your teens, lift as much as you want. As long as you don't overdo it, and when you overdo it, your body will know. So as long as you're getting noticeably stronger, by all means, bro... keep it up!

          I've seen his pictures...he's a f'n beast. Trust me he looks healthy!

          AA is about as big as you can get without it being overbearing...in my opinion...which doesn't matter much!

              As a guy, you don't want to go below 3% BF. It's 12% for women.

                Wouldn't you be close to death at 3% BF?

                I can understand somebody doing it for a day for a bodybuilding comp but 8% is already pretty much ripped to shreds. I doubt it would be possible to maintain 5% or lower for any length of time unless you are a genetic freak.

                    Last time I had mine recorded, I'm pretty sure it was 4.5%. That was three years ago. I'm sure it's the same, maybe a little less.

                      Any of you guys tried that new Gatorade with protein? I tried it today after I shot some hoops for a while and it was actually pretty good.

                      It's also not that bad numbers wise. 16g of protein, 130 calories, and only 12g of sugar in a bottle.

                          Nope.

                          3% is "essential" body fat. That number basically represents the fat your body needs for different systems in your body to work properly and for protection of certain organs.

                          So anything at 3% or higher is fine.

                            Yeah but you'd be mighty cold in the winter.

                            I've seen a few pics of guys supposedly at 4-5% bf and the vascularity was insane. Veins popping out everywhere, i doubt many women would find that attractive to be honest.

                            I think i'd more than happy to be at 10-12% all year round.

                              Those saying they are 4-5 are more than likely skinny people who get their bf% tested by the calipers...

                                At the end of high school I hardly ate, abused fat burners and ran everyday.

                                My BF was in the 8-10% Range.

                                Seriously even at -15% you can look ripped.
