Eating looks pretty legit, you've pretty much cut out all carbs.

should you do triceps and chest on the same day, since you use those muscles doing most of the exercises for doing chest, and also biceps and back on same day since again you use those muscles for those exercises?

So right now I have football and its not done until Thanksgiving but during the off season all of last year i have been working out 5 days a week with a trainer, 3 days a week the year before but i don't feel like I'm getting any results. I have pretty much stayed around the same weight(150 lbs) and strength (in my opinion) for about 2 years. I started taking cretine(sp?) last year and now after football I'm going to stack it but i don't know anything really about stacking pills and what is best, gives you the best results. So what has people taken and gotten the results, i know 2 seniors on my team who are both 1000 pound lifters and took cretine and O-explode but that is all my knowledge on this subject

Find out as much info about something as you can before you just go taking it.

my diet is fine i just normally don't eat food thats not going to do anything for me like junk food, i have a pretty big salad like each day before dinner pretty much. I eat a lot of carbs and I probably should eat more protein like at dinner, getting a bigger servings of it

Anyone use one of those weight vests? I'm thinking about buying of those to improve my speed/agility.

i was at costco the other day looking for whey but they instead had eas premium protein... i bought it but noticed that it had 80 mg of cholesterol per serving... isn't that a bit much?

anyone have any insight in this or eas premium protein in general?

Depends if the cholesterol is HDL or LDL. LDL=Good HDL=Bad.

That's not the same as dietary cholesterol.

Jagsfan, the EAS stuff is good for the price.

Fat is not all that bad for you. I'm going to go on a 40-40-20 ration with protein and fat being 40% of my cals and carbs being 20%.

Fat is a great source of energy! But goodness carbs are in everything!

Well today is a big day for me. I'm heading back to the weight room for real for the first time since I f'd up my back in early July. I've done some sporadic upper body stuff, but I'm going to be in the squat rack and doing a regular routine again starting today.

                            Let's hope this goes smoothly!

Theres nothing worse then starting over after a long injury or new job schedule. I remember not working out for over a year at one point and It taking so long to get back to were I was.

I'm not sure if you're trying to keep a low body fat % or stay trim, but if you are, 2 days of cardio a week won't cut it.
I despised cardio but as I've gotten older I've realized that it can't be avoided. The incredible metabolism I enjoyed in my teens and early 20's is no longer as strong.
I'm now in my early 30's and I started to notice that I was packing on some weight where I didn't want it. I tried cutting some things out of my diet, but it still didn't help as much as I wanted.
I recently ran a half-marathon and for 8 weeks I trained by running or doing some form of cardio 4 times a week. I received faster results once I did this.

Now I have 4 scheduled cardio days (as well as hockey) during the week as well as 3 days of weight training.
I've also been better with my diet. I eat 5-6 meals a day loaded with fruits, veggies and low fat protein entree's.

All of this has really helped shed some of the unwanted weight.
