Re: For all you guys wanting to gain muscle, size, etc.
Mine is simple...
1 banana (or 1 c of frozen berries if I'm out of bananas)
1/2 cup of Quaker Oats old fashion oats
2 scoops ON whey (I use chocolate)
1 heaping Tps of natural PB
1 c of water
4-5 ice cubes
Shove it all in blender and blend away.
But that may be too much for the average person, I believe it's 800 calories last time I checked but I'm a lot larger than most people.
Also, every night before bed I have....
1 c cottage cheese
1 c frozen berries
1 scoop whey
1 c water
4-5 ice cubes"You make your name in the regular season, and your fame in the postseason." - Clyde Frazier

Re: For all you guys wanting to gain muscle, size, etc.
Do i suppose to drink the protein shake in the morning, before workout, or after work out? The way my job is and wife/kid i can't work out till like 9 or 10 at nite. So is that to late?Comment

Re: For all you guys wanting to gain muscle, size, etc.
Better late then never mate. The best times to consume a protein shake is directly after working out and in the morning upon rising imo.
The only time i can workout is a 5.30am but i feel great for the rest of the day when i do it.Comment

Re: For all you guys wanting to gain muscle, size, etc.
OK thanks. I went bought all kind of lean meat,Veggie, fruit! Also got some WHEY Protein for shakes. Also got some dumbbells and a Iron Gym thing that hangs on the door for pull ups and other stuff. Hope it works cause i can just stick it in the closet when I'm done. Maybe i won't bust my *** hanging on it and it falls.
I see most of you guys eat 6 or 7 meals a day. From 9 to 3 i really won't be able to eat anything. So is a Protein bar or something work for in between meals that i won't be able to eat a MEAL? Also about doing cardio that can be running, jump rope Kick boxing video's anything like that rightComment

Yeah man it sounds great and like you are all sorted.
As for the not eating from 9-3 thing that is a tough one but a protein shake or some protein bars (just make sure it's not full of sugar like some of them are) will probably have to do. I tell ya after getting back into my healthy lifestyle after having a lapse over xmas (i try not to say diet because this is a permanent change not a temporary one) i feel so much better.
I like this website: http://www.scoobysworkshop.com/ where he gives some good, solid, down to earth advice and doesn't promote any scams or gimmicks. There are some simple yet effective workouts on his site that would probably suit the set up you have very well.Comment

I had a Proteins shake after i worked out for a lil bit and That stuff aint to tasty!I tried one that had Banana and Strawberry that someone posted. I know it don't suppose to taste like a real MILK SHAKE or something. But thought it would be better than that. Maybe i need to find a recipe that i would like.
Is the Protien drinks/shake a must? I drink 3/4 of it but had to force my self. I felt good after i drunk it.Comment

Re: For all you guys wanting to gain muscle, size, etc.
Personally, I find that just skim milk and chocolate protein powder tastes pretty good. Kind of like chocolate milk. I tried blending in a banana and ice, but just the powder and milk works well for me. btw, I use Optimum Nutrition protein.Villanova Class of 2012

EAS chocolate + skim milk + cup of ice= good stuff
I suggest adding oatmeal to your shake to make it a bit more thick. This will make you feel fuller and you get your fiber intake as well.
If you don't like oatmeal, try looking for some xanthan gum. This will also make your protein shake thicker. Here's a confession: I'm in love with a man. What? I'm in love with a man... a man named God. Does that make me gay? Am I gay for God? You betcha.Comment
