    I did state the thing I disagreed with because there are ketogenic diets out there, which I'm currently on.

      I guess I was thrown off with the clapping hands, then you saying how you disagreed with me, and then the last statement sounded like something that could have been really sarcastic. Then add to the fact that it was just so nice.

      Combine that with the fact that if you say something that may go against what another person says on here, they usually will give you a type fight.

      I wasn't sure though. So that's why I asked. lol

        How is that Ketogenic diet working for you though? Doesn't seem like the safest thing. How long you been on it? And what does it invlove?

          I see what you're saying.

          My blood is fine, my body is fine, and my energy levels are fine.

          Pros:
          I am full after I eat
          I have no problem not cheating on the diet

          Cons:
          I feel a little flat in my muscles after about 2 weeks (This is when I re-feed with some carbs and very little fat)

              I tried to do 48 laps on back-to-back days, bad idea. My wind was fine, but my legs and arms were dead - I was cooked after 12 laps, managed to push myself to finish 18. Guess I tried to bump up my workload load too much and/or too quicky. Oh well, I'm taking today off from the pool and I'll give it a whirl tomorrow.

                If your looking for a good website for swimming workouts, I HIGHLY recommend that you check out www.swimplan.com. Its a personalized workout generator, you enter in your stats (such as how fast you can swim a certain distance as well as how many strokes per lap) and it will generate a program for you. Its highly customizable, you can pick and choose which strokes to include as well as equipment if you wish.

                Let me know what you guys think. Being a swimmer I could give some of my advice.

                      Ehh you're a beast man.

                      I'm still prepping for the academy. Warm up includes:
                      20 push ups
                      30 full sit ups (nothing holding down feet, arms on opposite shoulder)

                      4 sets. No breaks go one to the other. I do this before I lift and it takes away from my lifts but my goal is no longer lifting really. I have to condition myself to do push ups & sit ups.

                      Running is also becoming much easier. I have to do 3 miles in 28 minutes for the academy and I can do 3 in 22-23. Still gonna try and improve in both areas because I want to be the best.

                          Eggs
                          Lean meats (chicken etc)
                          some vege's
                          some fruit
                          protein shakes
                          skim milk
                          water

                          Foods that are bad for me and taste great:
                          French fries
                          cheeseburgers
                          donuts
                          pizza
                          cakes
                          chocolate
                          Bourbon
                          Beer
                          Nacho's
                          Lasagne
                          waffles
                          ice cream
                          cheesecake

                          and on and on and on.....

                            I never thought I'd be happy to see myself gain 10 lbs.

                            I'm not near where I want to be, but it's nice to know that I'm on the right track. At most, half of that might be bad weight, the rest is either muscle or water weight that I've put on. It took a while to convince myself that I had to eat big to get big, but since I've started to not care how much I've ate I've started to notice some results in a fairly short amount of time (been working out again 4-5 times a week for the past 2 months, lighter work outs).

                            Hopefully I can keep this up until the end of March, then I hope to start running again so I can lose the bad weight I put on. That won't be too hard, I lose weight pretty easily.

                              So far, so good on working out over Christmas break. My machine at home kinda sucks, but it does enough to get me a workout. Plus I'm doing HIIT on the treadmill and its really tough. Luckily, I should be able to use my high school's weight room soon.
