Thanks. It appears she wants to go to florida for college in the fall which would mean no possible chance for a future, but im finding out 17 year olds change their minds every half hour, so im trying to play everything by ear. Ofcourse after hanging out with her 4 times in a span of 5 days and then having a week layoff, im getting kind of anxious.

Alright. Another update to my fiasco.

Prom came and went. She looked great dressing up like a girly girl for a change. Anyways, in the midst of some type of get together I was at with her and a few of her freinds, she accidentally spilled the beans on my age thing. She has this very brotherly like cousin who happens to date one of her friends. In the middle of me participating in underage smoking and drinking, my girl mistakenly blurts out "its like 2 27 year olds in here tonight". I'm looking like "*#@@$@"!!! Her cuz immediately looks up and asked "Gerald, you 27"??

After explaining scincerly what his cousin meant to me he kinda felt betrayed because he felt that he could relate to me since we were sopposed to be the same age. He was hurt but he seemed to get over it. He makes jokes about it now so I guess its cool. I just hope to gawd that he doesn't spread that word around. I'm sure one day he will and the ish will hit the fan. I'm just hoping the rest of the family gets over it just as quick as he did.

Yeah... especially if she's starting to take you in man, and you can see this legitimately going somewhere... do it before it comes out, and you're made to be the bad guy for not being the one to do it.

If you care about your girl, I'd talk to her, and just let her know that it's best if you tell the mom at least. Things would get ugly REAL quick if she found out from someone else. Then it'd just be akward as hell if you all stayed together, when you were around her.

I think you need to let her family know. You started this thread in January and you still haven't told her family and you've already made it past the Prom hurdle. (Where are pictures by the way?) You need to ask yourself how serious you are about her. If she is a marriage candidate then you have to tell them and then explain why it has gone the way it has and why you still want to date her. You can't apologize enough. They may not understand, but what is your alternative? Tell and take the consequences, which you don't know, OR don't tell and then just hope they don't find out before you either break up or she gets old enough where it doesn't matter. If you don't tell you are always gonna have this trust issue with her family and you don't want to have any trust issues if they are gonna be your in-laws.

Bottom line: You need to tell her family how old you are and if your relationship is strong enough, it won't matter and you will have a lot less stress in your life.

C'mon he's not telling them for a reason. He knows they'll forbid his their little girl from seeing him. Graphik you're thinking with the wrong head and man it's gonna hurt you! Unless you have the mindset of a 18 or 19 year old you need to stop the relationship. And even if you do have that mindset you need to stop it. I have a feeling things are gonna get bad for you, I hope not but I have this feeling. Either way you can prolly kiss anyone in that family trusting you ever again.

To make a long story short the cops showed up found beer and took the 3 people at the party that where over 21 to jail! Just a quick question are there not any nice 25-30 year old women where you live? I am not making fun of you at all, but with the whole lying to the family thing she is embarressed of you age dude! I went through this whole thing when I was 24 and it ended badly. I still have to watch myself 10 years later. Her dad and brothers still to this day try to pick a fight with me anytime they see me out. Yes when I was 24 I dated a very hot very rich 17/18 year old. We told her parents the whole 2 years that we dated that I was 18. We ended up breaking up when her brother found out my real age. Her dad would not let her out of the house for like 6 months (I am not kidding). She has 7 brothers, 4 of them played div. 1 football, anyway like I said they still hate me to this day and still give me a hard time. I did not go out to any local bars by myself for like 3 years because they where out looking my me.

I stay in the hood right now. Nothing but hood rats and scallywags over there. My girl is kinda like a diamond in the rough. I mean overall personality combined with looks. I work downtown and I basically see models everywhere I go. My current financial status wouldn't be able to hold on to one of those fine chicks. Its definitely not my esteem, I got a lil game. You cant poor pimp your way into no fine cooch where I'm at. These chicks are so stuck up in the Chi.

And believe me, my scenario is rampant where I'm from. I know of or have heard plenty of stories of older guys getting with young chicks. Its almost normal where I'm at. My situation is a lil diffrent because we actually are somewhat of a couple instead of me using her or her using me. She knows she can go out and find some older 20-something to use as a sugar daddy. I can easily rod young chicks if that was my aim but it really aint. But there are plenty of males and females doing just that.

Man, the situation gets close to the point that I'm ready to confess but something always comes up that prevents that. Well not prevent but kills the thought. She just got word that she wont graduate and has to go to summer school. Not a good time to tell your folks that you wont graduate and your boyfriend is damn near 10 years your elder.

At this point though, even if things did hit the fan, she's at the age where there's nothing that can be done about it.
