You do realize that if her family finds out about this from another source, your credibility will be out the window. If you are so proud about what you have with this person like you have said, then be a man about it on the front end instead of trying to figure out ways to keep it quiet. Your credibility is already a little shot because it has been going on for some time already.

I wouldn't worry about it. I saw an episode like this on 'Family Ties'. Or was it "Growing Pains"? I can't remember. But the jist is, in 30 minutes, it'll all right itself in the end.

Money, I think that her family will be pissed off longer than 30 minutes man if their not up front about it. I have 2 girls and when the time comes for them to date and if something similar occured like with Graphik, they weren't being up front with my wife and I, it would take longer than 30 minutes to end my anger.

You saw a situation like this on "Family Ties", which I saw this to in the 80's growing up, do you model your emotions/throughts/beliefs after TV Shows?

Wait till you have kids (unless you do already), your tune will change very fast.

It is kinda embarrassing but I shouldn't have waited so late to bring it to her attention which I still haven't done. She as well as everyone in her circle thinks I'm already going.

I really appreciate all the feedback though. I seriously dont know how to handle this. Sounds like something off a Lifetime movie.

27 and going to a prom. I think that is a first even for a TV show. Unless you are really working for 21 Jump Street! lol Oh well just tell her parents you are a uncover narc!

Why is everyone so caught up on the age thing. Like I said, this type of stuff happens all the time where I'm from. Some of them will understand and some of them will trip but in the end, they'll more than likely get over it since they already know who I am and know that I wasn't the typical 20-something looking to bang a young chick guy. Its a common sterotype but I've worked my way past that.

This is my main concern. 27 years old going to prom. I should just wear those man-leggings now, that way I would already be used to getting laughed at.
