We are supposed to get a lot, hasn't started yet though.

We didn't get it that bad here (DC), just enough to make the roads a mess. The government did close early though, so I got to go home early today only to sit in traffic for an hour and a half.Comment

My entire city was literally shut down today. The snow is one thing but the blowing and drifting causing the white-out blizzard is the worst part. And now the cold air comes back with a high of 4 with -30 wind chills tomorrow.The true fan always know his bounds, unlike the wagon-jumping hounds,

Snowing a little bit here, again. Not supposed to get much I don't think. I think this marks the 8th consecutive week it's snowed here. Still hasn't completely melted from the first storm. I'm ready for Spring.Comment

We're supposed to get snow tonight, ice in the morning mixed with freezing rain, then back to snow. Snow totals won't be a lot, like 4-7 inches, but add in the ice and the freezing rain and damn that sucks.Comment

Nice, we have off tomorrow. Now I have to get pumped for Snow Bowl II. It'd be even better if we get off on Thursday too, because we already have Friday and Monday called off, which would mean a 6-day weekend.Comment

This lake-effect snowfall in upstate N.Y. is ridiculous man...within 10 days, they have gotten 146" INCHES OF SNOW!!!Some place in New York got around 12 ft this past week. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,251403,00.html
AND they're suppose to get an additional 2ft...that's just insane!

Illinois got canceled today and yesterday. It's only closed 3 days previously for snow in history. Unfortunately the bank I work at still expects me to get my car out of the 2 feet of snow.... not sure what they're thinking.Listen to some of my covers:

Working from home today. The entire IT department where I work is. I haven't ventured outside yet, but it looks like everything is one big sheet of ice.
I shoveled about 5-6 inches yesterday off of my sidewalk/driveway. It looks like another 5 inches is sitting out there now. At least spring is 3 weeks away.
