Re: ALL THE FREAKING WHITE STUFF

Not bad at all. It's a lot worse out your way from what I've heard. We got maybe 4 inches of snow on the north shore, but it's a mix in Boston and mostly rain on the south shore. It could get ugly this afternoon if it starts freezing, but we'll see.Comment

Re: ALL THE FREAKING WHITE STUFF

This is fantastic. Kent State made it be known they were not going to cancel classes unless something drastic happened. Well yesterday the snow was falling faster than they could get it off the sidewalks, so they cancelled afternoon classes. Then I woke up this morning and looked out the window to see a few cars almost buried in snow drifts and a couple cars spinning their tires. No classes today to say the least.Comment

 It's canceled.

Over here, we are having an Ice Storm. It is crazy. Plus it is supposed to switch back to all snow with an inch or so more. The Ice is the worry though.Comment

Re: ALL THE FREAKING WHITE STUFF

Our schools got out early, the roads are iced covered, and the winds are so bad trees are going down everywhere. Thats the only thing I dislike about here is the wind gets so bad its extremely dangerous. Especially since the mountains are completely loaded with nothing but tall flimsy trees.Comment

Re: ALL THE FREAKING WHITE STUFF

Two feet of snow here today in Central New York. No big deal -- Syracuse is the snowiest metropolitan area in the Lower 48. We're used to this, as we average 115 inches of snow per winter.

Already shoveled the driveway this morning. Will do it again tonight after dinner. Snowbanks at the end of the driveway are reaching 6-7 feet.

 Good skiing this weekend, though!

 Take care,
