Re: The official "OS Occupation" Thread.

Starting a career shortly as an "Advanced Customer Rep" with a cable company..

Something that may spark an interest in going back to school - as it is a "help desk" type position, and I want to learn more about computers and such..

I'm attending College. This is my first full semester. I want to run my own business, either a sports-bar or a family friendly Gym. Not sure yet.

Currently, I work at Schnucks Grocery Store. It's a chain of large grocery stores in the St. Louis area. I started out a "bagger" in September 2007 and since then have been promoted twice, once to a Produce Trainee and then on to a Produce Clerk. I love it there. Lol.

For jingles, there are a few Desjardins Bank commercials (Quebec only) that use my material.

For songs, just this past summer I worked with three other songwriters for Demi Lovato, a Disney artist. If they appear on her next album, I should be getting a pretty sweet paycheck. For Interscope artists, I've worked with Kate Voegele, James Morrison and Flipsyde. Though, if any of my material is used, it will be on their next/future albums.

I work under the Advertising and Events field for the Chicago Bears. I work down in Bourbonnais for all of training camp, and during events ( Draft day/ fan convention) and I am at Soldier Field for all of the home games.

I also attend College, and just finished up my first semester at Bradley University in Illinois.

I worked in produce during the summer. Both of these are pretty damn easy. I think I did about 2 hours of total work a day during the week.

                              Law enforcement.

I work among society's most dangerous with nothing to protect me but my mind, hands and training.

Not trying to make myself sound like a badas$ because I'm not, but that's the best way to describe it.

I'll be going back to school very soon to finish up my degree. I am looking to start this coming spring.
