If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

I doubt having more blood would make it taste any better. My grandma likes it really bloody so if I'm with her I might try it.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.

Re: How you like your steak cooked?
Depending on the restaurant, most "medium" is closer to a medium rare that you'd make at home. It's usually why, at least at a steak house, they give descriptions of each level once you order it, to let you know.Comment

Re: How you like your steak cooked?
I would say most restaurants go the other way. Ordering "Medium" is closer to medium well than medium rare.Comment

Yah I agree. I always find restaurants err on the side of caution. I always order Medium Rare at a restaurant and usually get a Medium.Comment

Re: How you like your steak cooked?
I never order steak out. I have a Weber Genisis grill and an excellent butcher around the corner. Filets rare/medium rare with spicy dry rub and a gorgonzola spread melted on the last minute. 3 minutes on each side Maximum heat and they are seared to perfection.Chalepa Ta Kala.....Comment
