Lol at some of you guys. No way you'd be saying that guy was justified if that was your little sister, or daughter. And you definitely wouldn't be using words like "Stupid bitch", classy one there. She was no threat whatsoever to that guy, a minor annoyance maybe, but not a threat; not severe enough that he needed to punch her in the face to calm her down. I think of of at least 3 different ways he could have gotten the cuffs on her in that situation without punching her, or even spaying her for that matter. Also, no Dirrtysouth, my first instinct would not have been to knock her silly, not unless I'd just been waiting for a decent reason to do so anyway.

If my fifteen year old sister was stupid enough not to put her hands behind her back after being told to do so numerous times, and then she proceeded to bite the police officer on the arm, yeah she'd still be a "stupid bitch." What happened to her there was completely justified, in my opinion.

I think the pepper spray and the punch were totally warranted. Biting an officer is absurd, especially when the officer has no idea if you have AIDS or other transmittble diseases.

Well, I'm a long ways from having any kids so I can't really say, hopefully I would have raised her well enough to know not to bite a police officer, but maybe I should have just called her a "stupid little girl" instead, since I wouldn't actually call my sister a bitch (Probably because she's not one). But I'd definitely tell her she was acting stupid and in deserved both the punch and pepper spray.

I realize people make mistakes and I'm sure that this girl panicked to a degree, but refusing to follow a simple order and then biting the officer is beyond how a teenager would normally act in this situation.

I'm just sick of everyone who waits for any sign of "oppression" and "abuse of power" by police in order to go off and "speak against the man". Not just with this example, but in general. Same thing with all these taser incidents recently. It seems like its a trend to speak out and be a protester.

Yup. Everybody should just shut up when people get beaten or tasered for no reason.
