I never did either until now. They recently changed billing vendors and I think we were just unlucky.

I understand mistakes happen, but they keep piling up. Last night we had to call four times because every time we were to be transferred and were on hold, someone picked it up and banged on us. We couldn't have paid them even if we wanted to simply because we could not get through.

I finally did and the lady was very helpful and saw all the notes on our account and how many times we've had to call to get things fixed. At that point I just had a defeated inflection in my voice while she had "oh my god wow this is ridiculous" inflection in hers. She was very nice. We haven't been angry over the phone, just stern. We've worked in customer service and it sucks but sometimes they deserve to hear it.

I guess we finally got lucky with someone who actually wanted to help or gave half a damn because we're still good today after 3 straight days of having service suspended. I didn't trust her word, but she came through. Still jumping ship at our earliest convenience.

Facebook banning me until I change my name.

The same name I've had for over 5-years on there.

None of this fake name bull****.

My real name with my nickname as my middle name, as per their rules.

I had an issue when I first made my name in like 2006 because I had it as "Big Bob" as my first and "Bolig" as my last.. They said look, you can use "Big Bob", but just put it as your middle name and put "Bob" as your first.

      No problem.

Now 5-years later, it's a problem? People report random people and instead of looking into it, Facebook bans them or deletes their posts without actually looking at it.

Funny we are on the subject of bad Comcast service since I just recently went like 4-5 days with no internet. Honestly was the first real issue I've had with them though(and I've had them since I can remember.. with my parents and now on my own).

Ha, wouldn't surprise me. I have all sorts of fun stories from Comcast and before them Adelphia. Like the time an Adelphia call center person told me to format my computer because I wasn't getting an internet connection, meanwhile they were having an outage.

Some cable people do suck and all, but there's others who are actually real good, just depends on who you get. I got one guy who had no problem mentioning things that the company does, but doesn't ever tell people they do, but if people ever ask the company to do those things, they'll do it no problem(they just don't want people to know they do those things).

Basically I got an upgraded box for free cause of it.

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?

Forget about what I said about my experience downgrading my Comcast service. I was apparently misled as to what I was downgrading to and was left with virtually no TV channels including no ESPN or Root Sports which are the only channels I really cared about plus I didn't have WatchESPN which is apparently included with the cable despite being an internet service. Had to upgrade and because of there idiotic pricing I'll actually be paying essentially the same amount for Double Play as I was for the Triple play under its promotional price. Ridiculous. Oh and apparently despite the person telling me the downgrade was executed right away on Friday, it wasn't since I was watching football on ESPN and other channels most of the day Saturday and even watched some of the Dolphins at Jets game on WatchESPN on Monday. It wasn't until I tried to watch the end of ECU vs. UCF on WatchESPN earlier tonight that I realized it was messed up. Now I just hope I get it back before tomorrow night's MAC championship game, or at least be able to watch it on WatchESPN.

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?

Playing a great game against the AI, and everything is good/fun.....until the final 2-3 minutes of the game when somehow the CPU just goes crazy and starts pulling off some crazy moments to win(not comeback mode, just crazy things to turn a 1 point lead into a 3 possession lead, within like 20 seconds)

I don't care if the CPU wins, but win fairly, don't start randomly having the most fluke worthy moments happening over and over again. CPU tips the ball away from my player by the basket, the ball goes flying and lands right by the other basket,so the CPU player can just pick it up/easily score(and it's almost like the CPU teammate knew it was gonna happen, cause he just starts running to his basket before the tip even happens). Next play....My AI teammate magically fouls the CPUs shooter on a 3 point shot, and despite him being a horrible free throw shooter,he makes ALL 3.

Hate when it happens. I don't care about if I win or lose in these games at all, but I want it to be fair/fun all the way to the end, not all the way until the final 2-3 minutes.

Though that's another thing I find real annoying in these games, moments where it seems like the CPU knows what's gonna happen, BEFORE it happens. The tip moment like I mentioned above, and even in NHL games, my guys about to take a shot, and out of nowhere, the CPU player abandons the play...and then seconds later, my guys shot bounces off a defender and goes all the way to center ice...right to the CPU player who previously abandoned the play and was waiting for the puck.

I can almost never go back to playing Mario Kart once I realized how huge that "rubber banding" was on the game. It's not like people accusing NBA or NHL games of having comeback modes, Mario Kart you can literally see the comebacks happening when you look at the map in the game. Mario Kart 64 if you use the square map thing, you can see one guy go from the bottom left of the square to the top left in like 5 seconds, when in reality it takes like 20 seconds to do it(even with speed boosts)

Just received a call from....wait for it.......'Roger Moore' from the 'Department of Legal Affairs'.

Didn't know that 007 had a thick Indian accent. And apparently there's been "legal action" taken against me. Again-->

I call back and ask what SPECIFIC action has been taken against me, and these dopes...er, excuse me...scam artists didn't have an answer. So then I tell him, "Hey sparky, I'm going to have my attorney call you right back to get to the bottom of this", and dude hung up on me. Aww, c'mon....we were just starting to have some fun.

Anyway, be careful of these jerkoffs. Most of us here know this, but they prey on ill-informed and/or old people who panic and don't know how to handle situations like this. Give a heads up to your parents and/or grandparents about this scam.
