Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
My shoulders and back are peeling from a sunburn.. it's gross and annoying.
I do prefer this phase over the hurts like hell phase, though. I went through a firefighting school two days after getting burnt.. **** was so badComment

Except when random people walk in and try to awkwardly acknowledge you. Thank goodness for the pretend checking your phone stuff lol.
The most random thing that has happened in an elevator for me was when someone(in their 20s) walked in,and the first button they pressed was the emergency button by accident....They eventually pressed the right button, but then they got off the floor before me,so I had the emergency person come on the speakers AFTER the person who pressed it,just left. I just got off and pretended nothing ever happened lol. Check the security footage,I had nothing to do with it!Comment

I'm not sure why anyone thinks one pol is significantly better or different than another. Either way it's a discussion not to be had here.

Anyways, I work on the first floor but it's actually 3 flights of stairs and I carry in two laptops, chargers, notebooks and some other stuff in my bag so it's near 30 LBs.
I don't always take the elevator but when I do, it's easier.Originally posted by Gibson88Anyone who asked for an ETA is not being Master of their Domain.
It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
When you made a mistake in a post, wanna go back and edit it,but someone just quoted that post so your mistake lives on!
AND...When you go grocery shopping, and at the checkout, when the cashier sends your items down that conveyor belt thing onto the empty side(since grocery stores have a divider so 2 customers can be picking up their groceries at the same time), and then the person taking their groceries from the other side, is blocking your side.
I mean, it's like people don't know how to act sometimes. You have your side, someone else has their side. Why are you blocking BOTH pickup areas? That isn't the time or place to just stand around and talk to whoever you're with. Pickup your items and move! I'm not just gonna go and stand there the entire time, waiting for you to move, while the cashier starts sending someone elses items on my side of that conveyor belt!
In these situations, the people who typically are the blockers, are usually rude. So just being like "excuse me,can I just get in there for a minute and pick up my items", leads to them giving some answer with attitude.Last edited by Majingir; 08-07-2015, 11:12 PM.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
I go fishing at a mountain creek/river near my house about once a week. It's off the beaten path but it is frequented by local gold panners, teenagers, sunbathers, and other recreationists. I end up packing out basically a six pack of other people's cans, bottles, plastic, junk just about every time cause people are just ****ing careless and dirty.
A few weeks ago I found a big thick plastic shopping bag and hung it on a big rock along the main trail that follows the river and put some plastic bottles in it I had already picked up. The next few visits I add to it every time.
Today as I walked down the path I could see from a distance the bag was gone. I thought some good soul had packed out the garbage bag.
Nope. The bag was gone but all the garbage was dumped out on the ground.

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
^sadly ya. Every site is doing it! Like when lebron opted out this year. I think 99% of people knew he did it to restructure a new deal, but certain sites had headlines like "lebron leaving Cleveland again?" And then the first sentence is like "no he's not.".Comment
