I think the leagues that control those channels have some degree of say on what pricing tier they are included in on cable providers. I think the only reason NFL network is on the regular package is due to a lawsuit several years ago.

I don't believe because my grandmother has Comcast, same thing just the standard package, yet she has all 4 channels. So why would it be different for one company compared to the other.

With all the Sci-Fi games, movies and books, would be kind of cool to see another planet in the sky instead of the moon at the same distance.

Oh yea, I think the apps also put the shows up literally right after they air as well. Because the last couple of weeks, I have watched Ballers in bed at like midnight EST.

Three drive-thru gear grinders. Here's an example:

Me: "Can I get a Big Carl... just the sandwich... and a cup of ice water, please?"
DA: "Do you want the meal?"
Me: "No, just the sandwich."
DA: "Anything else?"
Me: "A cup of ice water, please."
DA: "Okay, see you at the window."

I get my burger, no damn water.

Me: "I also asked for an ice water?"

I get my water, sometimes with ice and sometimes without it.

(DA stands for dumb-***, by the way)

I sort of understand them asking me to upgrade to a combo meal probably because it's protocol, though if I clearly specify I only want the burger beforehand I don't see them convincing me otherwise. It's like how they sometimes will say like: "Welcome to Burger King, would you like to try our new _________ burger?" which is fine to introduce me to it, but let's say I complete my order and then they add, "Would you also like the _________ burger?" Sounds kind of stupid that way.

I also don't understand why every drive-thru place finds it necessary to not somehow put "water" on the item list just because there is no charge, it's a part of my order. I'm thirsty, and would probably like to get as I'm giving you my money. I'd appreciate that, thanks lol.

The third thing is lately I've gone through drive-thru places where not only is my order not showing up on the screen (which is okay I guess), but they're also not telling me how much my total is. It's strange, I'm like 15-for-15 on this recently.

Something about food I've been meaning to mention for awhile....Anyone else noticing that portions from things you buy are getting smaller?

Pack of juice for example, lets say the pack used to be 500ml(17oz I think for you americans?), now suddenly,seems like it's getting smaller to like 490ml(16.5oz?).

And some food items, if it was 250g, suddenly reduced to like 246g now or something....

Some items, it use to be a tight fit on the tray in a toaster oven,now I'm noticing I got more than enough space on the tray for it...the portions are getting smaller,but prices saying the same if not going up?
