Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Yeah, I used to faux brag about being #1 in the country in violent crimes per capita, but I'm watching them light the fireworks right outside my window. Also it's windy and the hot debris is landing on the roof, this will probably end well.Wolverines Wings Same Old Lions Tigers Pistons Erika ChristensenComment

"My bad" - Not sure when this started and I know it's been around for years now, but it drives me nuts. When did it officially replace "sorry, my mistake"?
What is a "bad"? Bad is an adjective, right!?
My 60 year old boss will say it in business/staff meetings. "My bad on not getting the performance reviews out last week." I can almost understand it for teens, but its use is out of control.
No, I'm not 100 years old. Just 41.Comment

People who call you over and over and over again rather than just leaving a message.
I had 11 missed calls from one person in a 10 minute period this morning before I arrived at work. Called him back when I got in and he said he thought I didn't hear the phone ring and he was trying to get my attention.Comment

But letting them pay at the register is just plain stupid. Slows everything down n i can imagine the parents expect the cashier to be extra nice when sometimes they aren't in the mood.
My mom used to sell peta bread, and one of our neighbors bought some everyday n everday they sent their 7 or 8 year old son n everyday there was a misunderstanding where he had to go back to his mom n hear her instructions again.
after the 3rd time he seemed completely confident doing it himself (even though he always messed up) so idk why they kept sending him for years when he kept messing up.i tried not touching anything when i was younger and ended up pissing all over myself.Comment

Same for those at dawn and dusk. People were really bad about that in Delaware. You are on some back country roads through Amish country coming in from PA and I routinely saw cars without lights on. Asking for trouble in those situations.Comment

I've actually seen cars driving without their lights on at night lol. Actually my boss' brother got a DUI that way... he was driving home at like midnight without his lights on. Idiot.Indianapolis Colts

I like automatic lights for those idiots who can't seem to figure out they want their lights, but never use it on my car because they never seem to come on or stay on when I want them to.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
The motorcycle people that drive between lanes in traffic make me nuts! I always knew someone would get clipped doing it and I finally witnissed it recently. I guy passed by me and a few cars up a car changed lanes and did not see the motorcycle and got wrecked. Luckily it all happened at a slow speed, the guy on the bike had some serious road rash on his arm. I don't wish bad things on people but I hope he learned a serious lesson!“The saddest part of life is when someone who gave you your best memories becomes a memory”Comment
