It was hot yesterday so I get the wanting to get in the shade, but at least wait between batters. Washington you could only go back to your seat between at bats (and most people also waited to get up then too), and although it wasn't perfect, it was an improvement. It only works as long as there is just a person or two that has to get by. As soon as you have a group of 5 or 6, they still won't get by you between at bats.

I know at Phillies games if you leave your seat you can't come back until an at-bat is finished or it is between innings.
I went to Yankee Stadium for the first time a few weeks ago and sat 3 rows from the very top. It amazed me how many people in my section kept getting up constantly. Never saw it that bad at a game before. It was like a revolving door. So annoying.Comment

Baseball there should be almost no reason you have to get up in the middle of action.
People switching seats doesn't bother me all that much, as long as they don't give you a hard time about having to move when you show up, which has always been the case in my experience.Originally posted by Jay BilasThe question isn't whether UConn belongs with the elites, but over the last 20 years, whether the rest of the college basketball elite belongs with UConnComment

I guess that rule doesnt apply to all ballparks. I never like leaving my seat during game. If i want food or drink, ill get it before game begins. Might as well, since i get to ballpark like 30 mins before game begins.
I know rule applies to hockey games though. You can leave anytime, but cant go back to seat till break in play. Thought baseball would be same since theres more balls going into stands, than pucks in hockey going into crowds.Comment

If I see my seats are surrounded on both sides by people and the row in front of me is wide open I'm sitting in the wide open seats until someone gets there.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
If people are gonna do that, doing it later in game like 3rd inning might be better, cause you can look at crowd and see which sections might be opened up.
I did that once too lol. I sat somewhere but it was real hot/sunny that day. Later in game i noticed a section further down that had shade and nobody sitting there. So i just moved down there and sat for rest of game in nice cool shade,at seats that cost about twice as much(which is why people dont usually sit there)Comment

You sure it's fireworks? I mean, according to Google, Saginaw has one of the highest violent crime rates in the country. When I lived in Memphis, you always played the game of "gunshot or fireworks" around 4th of July.Comment
