That drove me crazy. What drives me crazier is when someone does the dishes and you can still feel the grease on them after they've dried.

Don't even bother doing them if you aren't going to do it right!

Back in the day when my parents had a house phone it drove me crazy when I would answer and people would just say my dads name instead of asking if so and so was there. I would just say no and let them make the next move.

I work in the produce section at a grocery store, and yesterday at work, a customer told me that 2 boys, who must have been about 6 and 8, were eating cherries off the rack and spitting the pits back into the cherries on the shelf. I walk over, and sure enough there're the boys eating the cherries.

So I told them stop, and they did and ran to mom. Of course, their mother didn't even care about what they were doing. Pisses me off.

My manager asking me 5 times a day, "What you got going on Chase?".

My job hasn't changed that ****ing much in the past year. Why would I be doing anything any different today ?

I can be busting my *** or helping outside too in the heat and it goes un noticed, but if I camp out at my desk for a few minutes somebody is asking me what I'm doing.

It's not bad when he's not here, though.

Don't worry, the next 4 days they will all buy you lunch and have a cook out for the rest of the week.

It's not likely. He was a little bitter with me about missing work yesterday.

I got in the truck and the starter went out on me at the gas station, while on my way to work and I had to call in.

He kept insisting that I come in and I kept saying, "Man.. I'm an hour away with no vehicle and I'll have to fix my truck anyways."

He kept claiming I had called in several times this past month, which is partly true. My brother in law died and I was sick and had a doctor's excuse for that. I don't know, sometimes I think they are only worried about themselves. If something comes up with their kid or something random, they split.. It gets annoying.

I work for a car dealership, but It feels like a retail store in so many ways.

The owner of my company says I don't have enough "fire". What does that mean? Besides, not sure how he'd know when he walks by my desk TWICE A WEEK! Guess when I see he's coming I'll get an annoyed look on my face like George Costanaza when he was trying to look busy.

This reminds me of when I was in boot camp many moons ago and I had kitchen duty. Now glasses, spoons, forks and eating trays were all cleaned by this industrial steam machine. But all the cooking trays, pots, etc that were big was washed by hand in this huge sink.

Anyway I was running the machine, these two other guys were doing the other stuff. Anybody that ever had KP duty can tell you, that stuff lasts ALL DAMN DAY from 4am to 10pm. Just a never ending line of dishes. We get done, go back to the barracks. Next morning cooks come in, throws a hissy fit and calls the DI. DI comes up to the barracks and say everybody that had KP duty yesterday step forward. We step forward and he marches us to the chow hall.

Get there, he just starts tossing trays on the floor saying greasy, greasy, greasy, greasy. Then he says feel this ? You feel that slickness ? It feels like you playing with a female and trying to get her in the mood. I don't suppose to have that female feeling when I touch trays.

Turns out the guys who were doing the cooking trays, never changed the water the entire day. When in reality you suppose to change the water every hour. DI smoked the hell out of us. I was so pissed at those guys and said damn it you guys never washed dishes at home ?

Their answer ? No, I grew up with a dish washer, never done dishes by hand in my life. I said really ? Guess what ? Next time we do hand to hand sparring sessions, I'm purposely picking you guys out for I can legally beat the crap out of you.

I don't pay my water bill. When I wash dishes, I use fresh running water the entire time. Also much easier with a single-basin any way.
