Blzer, what's your thoughts on Captain Crunch only being a Commander?
I looked up to him many a morning. To find he was a fraud my whole childhood was heart breaking.

My only beef with Captain Crunch commercials is there's no labeled disclaimer that eating or wanting the cereal doesn't actually allow you to crunchetize. It's false advertising, plain and simple.

I think it's hilarious on the Guess Who commercial, the guy at the end says: "Game cards do not actually talk."

Has any one taking prescription meds had their pharmacy switch from bottles to these little boxes they have now?

I HATE trying to open those things. I'm to the point now where I just cut it open.

Got some pills in the mail from the VA today. 5 pills in a huge bottle that could fit a 100 or more pills. Talk about a waste of money.

It's just like potato chip bags. You get a 40 gallon bag for half a gallon worth of chips.

When I go to Boston Market for the 1st time in forever and they're out of chicken pot pies. They said they were actually out of crusts which is funny because I don't even eat the crust.

And from earlier today, when Microsoft OneNote decides to be screwy and not real-time autosave everything like it's supposed to and I lose an hours worth of work.

Oh, that reminds me. When stores don't open on time.

Doesn't happen often, but the Jamba Juice by me opens at 7:00 AM on weekdays, and that's really the only time I can get there before arriving at my school site to teach. Sometimes management doesn't get it open until near 8:00 AM. Sucks when I can't get my fix.

Opposite happened to me at the DMV when I moved here. They open at 8:30... supposedly. I showed up right at 8:30 and there was already a line of about 40 people and based on the numbers, they had been helping people for at least 20-30 minutes. Only took an hour, but had I known they'd be open early, I'd have shown up much earlier.

In-N-Out Burger does this. They advertise to open at 10:30 AM, but I think that's at the latest. Once they feel they're ready to take orders, they'll open the doors. I've been there as early as 9:45 AM eating my burger despite the sign on the glass.

Of course, the line isn't ever forty people either, during its busiest time but especially not so during the morning.

EDIT: Actually, something else about Jamba Juice now that I think about it. I get a drink called Orange Carrot Karma (orange juice, carrots, bananas, & mango). Sometimes even when it closes as late as 8:00 PM, I might arrive there at 5:30 PM and they already say they've shut down their orange squeezing machine or their carrot blending machine. That's just ridiculously early, especially if I didn't get my drink earlier in the day and couldn't because they didn't open on time.

I've had stores close on me. Went to Jack in the Box for some late night tacos. It's a 24 hour drive through, but we roll up around 2:00 and no one answers.
