In past several years there have been way too many movies that are just the exact same movie as things released within past few decades, but more "modern".

And the worst thing...movies that use the name of well known stories/characters and the plot of their story basically has next to no relation to the actual story.

The most recent example...The Frankenstein movie coming out. From the commercial,it looks like it has NOTHING to do with the actual original story, they're just using the Frankenstein name to gather interest. This has happened so many times recently in so many movies, just desperate attempts by these companies to get as much interest as possible for the most uncreative movies.
That movie is based on a graphic novel actually.

Movies have been recreating things since their inception.

My wife is famous for this. I usually find the phone dead stuck between the cushions of the couch!

The studios seem to want too much of a profit. I don't blame them, but a movie made for $20 million should be considered a success if it only makes $60 million.

"Man card". Oh my god, man card.

I'm struggling to think of a phrase or idea I hate more than "man card", and that includes "Roll Tide".

Maybe it's because I left my MAN CARD in my MAN CAVE where only MEN are allowed into where we watch football while smoking cigars and gamble while drinking Dr. Pepper Ten because we're MEN and that's what MEN do. Heaven forbid I do something UNMANLY like watch a documentary on Nancy Kerrigan/Tonya Harding because then I'd lose my MAN CARD and every ounce of MANHOOD I have.

Food places(restaurants, fast food places, groceries) that don't list what they have and/or prices of most(if not all)items they have on their website.

It's 2014, how have so many places not yet utilized the internet?

So much harder going grocery not knowing which ones has what item for what price. Sure, they have flyers, but it's always only the main things in the flyers they have(like vegetables, bread, milk, meat, and so on).

And going to a fast food place, not knowing how much it costs for certain things,so I'm just standing there looking at their menu and feeling somewhat stupid cause everyone around me are regulars(and I just go to places like this every few months or so) to this place so they know everything on the menu and how much it all costs.

God, this is so true. I live in a small town and we have quite a few mom and pop restaurants. Most do carryout, and sometimes we don't have a menu. Most of these places have been here forever yet have no website. Is it too much to ask for them to at least have a Facebook page with a menu?

I don't want to call and ask them whats what's on special, if they have a certain thing, or what not.

This made me think of a related gear grinder. There is a VERY good Chinese place here that is very fairly priced. The only issue is that you never know what they have at any given time. They have a menu, but at any given time they could either not serve an item anymore of be out of it.

Its family owned and only they work there so they get a pass. So when I call or go there I just say "do you have.....tonight."

Getting repeatedly invited to play some game on facebook all from the same person, even getting multiple invites per day. I even posted a status saying that I'm getting inundated with such requests without actually naming the game or person (my cousin) and she apparently didn't take the hint.

Also, when I get bloodwork done and the nurse tapes the gauze down with adhesive tape afterwards then when I go to remove it I end up ripping half the hair out of the skin on the inside of my elbow and leaving a nasty looking mark. I tried wetting the tape first this time, but it didn't work very well.

For me, it's not so much about the small stores, but the main ones. Even places like McDonalds doesn't have the prices of their items on their website.Though they at least have all items on their menu on their website. Many places don't even have that. They just have their big items and that's it.

Don't get why food places seriously don't do this, especially a place such as a grocery store. I know prices for grocery stores change every week, but I'm sure it's not that hard just to get someone to update the price whenever it changes.

2014 and people talk about what they think the future will be like in terms of technology...why not focus on today and how many places aren't even up to date on current technology.
