I am aware of the meaning, it is the fact that when I hear people say that I immediately look at them in a different light. This light would shine on them in a greatly negative way, with uneducated being the first impression.

Cartoons that break into song and dance. I can watch live-action comedy's all day and no one sings, why is it when the characters are animated they have to sing mock showtunes all the time?

Okay, I don't really despise this too much because it's rather complimenting, but I do like dozens of voice impressions and people constantly ask me to do them (more specifically recalling from exact scenes over and over). Again, I don't mind doing it for them but I prefer doing it on my own peril, that way it's not like there's a bar set for me to do it exceedingly well or something, especially when someone praises that I can do it and forces me to do it in front of someone for the first time.

This would be with anything though, including playing guitar and singing. Someone may see I own one and go, "Can you play something for me?" Well of course I can, but it would have been much more settling for me if I could have approached you.

So again, not so much a pet peeve... I just wish it didn't happen as often though.

I've seen singing on 30 Rock, It's Always Sunny in Philly, and an entire episode of Scrubs.

The musical episode of Scrubs is almost all the mock showtunes that you so despise.

It depends. If there is no vehicle that he is overtaking then yes he does, but if he is overtaking another vehicle then there is no obligation to go get out of the way, especially if the trailing car is speeding.

In no order:

1)People who wear pajamas outside of their premises.

2)People who pronounce the word schedule as shed shoe ul.

3)People who update their Facebook status like 20 times a day. I've clicked ignore for so many people on there.

4)The time left on the microwave always bugs me.

5)People who interrupt and try to finish a story I'm telling.

6)People who say 'That's funny!" instead of actually laughing. That has always irked me.
