There are times when fans at basketball games purposely count down wrong. When the away team has the ball fans will count down wrong to throw the other team off. I've seen this a lot in college basketball.

Oh I know this for sure, but that's more for a shot clock than anything else. I'm referring to the home team having the ball. They don't clap out of rhythm to mess up the band, for example.

It even carries over to a timeout or something when the SDSU band plays our theme song. There's a certain portion where the crowd gets to say, "S... D... S... U... S-D-S-U Az-tecs fight!" Anyway, they finish like five seconds before the drummer's beat and the rest of the song. It's just annoying is all.

The "interview someone from your career path" assignment at school.

Good in theory, but this will be the third time that it's been assigned to me in 3 different unrelated classes. Accounting, Ethics, and Career Skills.

Not only that, but I have sincere doubts about any professional person wanting to take time out of their day to answer my ******* questions. Unless the person interviewing you was your son or daughter, I don't even see why you'd agree to it.

When someone on OS points out they have people on their ignore list. They will just come in a thread on their high horse and let everyone know they have someone on ignore. I just came across this in a thread. To me it feels like they are bragging, I know it's not their intentions, but it's just a pet peeve of mine.

Yeah. I know exactly what you mean. I mean is the "ho ho ho thank goodness I can't see X user like all of you can ho ho ho" posts necessary?


But anyway, now that Im back at school, crazy girls on south campus who will wear the short short short skirts to go to frat row waiting at the bus stop for 30 mins in 11 degree weather drive me crazy. I want to make fun and laugh but it just hurts and I feel sorry for them on so many different levels. And how do these girls stay warm with leggings, Uggs, and a hoodie? Im freezing my *** off with long jeans big *** hoodie, peacoat, fitted cap and skully on my head? It must be a country thing. I miss Brooklyn already, where everybody is freezing all the time lol.

Speaking of peeves related to OS, what's the deal with "Not changing the signature until (team) wins National Championship" with the date that they stated their claim.

It's really stupid. I don't care if your team wins the National Championship and I don't care if you change your sig.

The inverse is when people quote the person you have ignored. For some reason it shows that persons post when it's quoted!

I know I've done this. I have a tendency to mix them up, most times I'll correct myself though. I know the difference between the two, yet I always mix them up.
