My friends and I have been trying to set up one of my buddy's with women because he is so clueless. He's a real nice guy, had a decent career and all but just struggles with the fairer sex.

After trying to set him up a few times one thing that I have noticed that grinds my gears and I imagine would grind the gears of lots of single guys is that women often seem to fall into two categories:

1. Attractive women who are so up themselves it's not funny and so dumb they can barely have a conversation and;

2. The reverse of that who are girls with great personalities and a sense of humour who are so unattractive (like they don't even seem to try, bad hair, bad skin, overweight etc) that no guy would want to date them.

Obviously the holy grail is the good looking girl with a great personality though it honestly seems more and more likely to see the opposite which is the ugly girl who is up herself (think Snookie) and has a massively inflated ego.

Obviously not all women are like this but it does seem harder than I remember finding girls who are attractive and have a great personality than it used to in the past.

Probably a strange post coming from a guy who has been happily married for 7 years but I gotta say I don't envy you single guys sometimes.

You forgot the materialistic chicks who within the first 2 minutes of meeting you they ask what do you do for a living.

The pet obsessed chicks who value the life of animals more then humans. And every chance they get they try to steer the conversation about pets.

OR

The activist chicks who always find a flaw in everything and want to hold a rally for the cause they just recently created.

OR

My favorite annoying kind, the chicks that always bring along their man hating best friend who is hell bent on proving all men are dogs, liars and cheats. But yet this same best friend is currently in a relationship with a man that does all these things but yet she is blind to it, go figure.

When my roommate's gf stays over.. she gets up before I do and just does weird stuff nobody should be doing at 6-7am. Like turning the dishwasher on and waking me up too early, or turning ALL the lights on, or vacuuming the tile floor in the kitchen, or she'll watch Golden Girls at an ungodly volume on the surround sound

When my roommate's gf stays over.. she gets up before I do and just does weird stuff nobody should be doing at 6-7am. Like turning the dishwasher on and waking me up too early, or turning ALL the lights on, or vacuuming the tile floor in the kitchen, or she'll watch Golden Girls at an ungodly volume on the surround sound

ugh

Obviously she must be very good at what she does if your roommate tolerates that BS early in the morning. Should introduce that chick to a broom and tell her to freaking sweep kitchen the floor at 6am.

When you get to that point of the day where it's time to work out, but you start to put it off "until later" just because you feel you're too "busy" at the moment.

oh god that's the worst part about it, she is worthless in the sexual department, I know for a fact he isn't getting any.. she's the type that wants to get married before consenting to such sinful acts

I don't understand this mindset...

I mean, are you just going to go out and buy the first new car you test drive or are you going to shop around until you find one you like?

Almost got shot in a McDonalds drive thru cuz this guy doesn't understand how a drive thru works so we got in a yelling match. Today wasn't the day to mess with me.

My wife was like that. Some people just care who they sleep with. It's worked out so far haha.
