People who choose to remain ignorant just so they can be lazy. I see it especially with my coworkers. They use the philosophy the less they know the less responsibility and work they'll have to do.

It works excellent in the military, more so in an infantry unit.

You can't compare military life to any other jobs. Well. The military that I experience anyways. Not saying its right, but its been like that since the dawn of time.

Oh man. I missed checking this thread a couple days ago. Lt Dan and GMSS need to have a "get off my lawn competition". Asap.

          - When you're a passenger in a car, and you try to be slick and take a sip or two of your beverage while the car is driving, and you end up hitting a bump and the drink ends up spilling on your clothes.

          - When you see that Super hot chick in the store, again you try to be slick and pretend to ignore her at first glance, but then end up taking a few sneak peaks too many... and she ends up catching you looking. Which at that point you just turn away and continue your shopping.

Whenever that happens to me I just make it extremely awkward and stare at her boobs until she walks away.

How about... strike up a conversation. Or make up a stupid question as an excuse to talk to her.

Especially you, Feared! What good does it do to just look at the hot girl? Talk to her!

You see some guys can do that with no problem, I could never strike up the courage to just randomly go up to an attractive woman in a public place and just talk to her.

Call me a chicken, but I've always been a quiet, more laid back person.

You just need to force yourself to do it.

Trust me, I'm the same way. I'm awkward as hell. Just force yourself to be uncomfortable for a minute. Chances are you'll never see her again anyway.

Next time just get really drunk before you go to the store. That should help.

The "friend zone" grinds my gears.

And to the above conversation, college taught me these equations:

Me + No Alcohol = Rational, yet shy lad
Me + Alcohol = A "rico suave" (in my own mind) and non-rational human being.

If I can talk to girls while impaired then why can't I do it when I'm fully functioning?
