I really hate when people get on their pedestals and tell people how to live.
Don't eat turkey? Really? How about people eat what they want to eat?

I don't know. Stuff like this is easier to shrug off and completely ignore than other statements pundits make on a daily/weekly basis.

Speaking of self-checkout machines, I really hate that for some inexplicable reason, Wal-Mart refuses to install them. It seems like that place goes out of its way to make shopping as difficult as possible. The departments never have employees, employees will walk around and ignore people standing in a department and they have a million cash registers but only 3 cashiers.
I used that thing every chance I had.

I think most Wal Marts took those out.
Those things are magnets for shoplifters.
We had them when I worked at Home Depot and it required more work and trouble than what it was worth. You're better off employing someone and just letting them work a cash register.
People always bitched and said, "I hate this new technology, it's taking jobs away from people who could use them".
I wanted to say, "No, mother****er. You come attend this self checkout for four hours and tell me if they run themselves".
Example: Customer pushing cart with ten 2x6x12s comes strolling up to a self checkout. How the **** did he expect to check those out ? They were more of a headache than anything else.Comment

Nobody ever uses the cashier checkouts here. It's almost demoralizing to see them all standing at the end of their aisles waiting for customers when there's a line forming around a few of the self checkouts.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Kids getting 5 days off for Thanksgiving........WTF ????? When I was a kid we went all the way up to Thursday. And that wednesday was a FULL DAY and we usually had TESTS all that day.
Now kids had a HALF DAY today and don't go back to Monday. I was thinking wow how lucky kids are nowadays. I swear the school system have a break every damn month too. Like every month they either get a week off or 3 days off for a BREAK. What kind of BS is that ?
September and October they had a Fall Break
Week off for Thanksgiving
December Christmas break
January & February Winter breaks
March & April - Spring breaks
May - Summer break
June school ends after the 1st week
It is like nowadays they barely in school but yet parents still complain the school year is too long.Comment
