Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Yeah I met your great great great great great great grandfather.......I remember him quite well because he was afraid of smoke signals. Because of this he came late for Thanksgiving dinner since we couldn't smoke signal him the time dinner would start.

This damn keyboard that has, three times today, decided to stop working right in the middle of typing a post. Reinstalled drivers hoping it stops failing like that, but might be time to get a replacement.Comment

One of my laptops has a couple of keys that just turnoff for hours randomly. So those few hours a day that its fully working I try to get all my posting done. Or at least thats how it was until I replaced it. Now I just use it to watch videos on youtube while I work on the the working one.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
People who live in a major city who complain about rush hour traffic. What do you expect when you live in a city of millions ? Same thing about people who complain about long lines at the airports around the holidays. It's like umm you choose to travel during the holidays, you choose to fly, so blame yourself because it is like that every year.Comment

^ At Syracuse the main library has become a social hangout spot. Just a bunch of facebooking and pretend studying/procrastinating. That grinds my gears.Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Oh, but I don't want to root for a school and it's athletic programs! I want to root for the National Championship contenders!
I root for Michigan and Michigan only, in every sport. In Football, I only root for Michigan whether or not they make the BCS Championship. However come NCAAB Tourney time and Michigan isn't in it(every year), I'll pick a hometown team(usually Syracuse) to root for.
I don't consider that what you're talking about. But I find the NCAA Tourney more exciting when I have a team to root for.
Edit: And if neither Michigan nor Syracuse are in the Tourney, I just root for the underdogs.Last edited by Guru03; 11-21-2012, 11:01 PM.- Arizona Cardinals (Eternal Punishment)

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Kids getting 5 days off for Thanksgiving........WTF ????? When I was a kid we went all the way up to Thursday. And that wednesday was a FULL DAY and we usually had TESTS all that day.
Now kids had a HALF DAY today and don't go back to Monday. I was thinking wow how lucky kids are nowadays. I swear the school system have a break every damn month too. Like every month they either get a week off or 3 days off for a BREAK. What kind of BS is that ?
September and October they had a Fall Break
Week off for Thanksgiving
December Christmas break
January & February Winter breaks
March & April - Spring breaks
May - Summer break
June school ends after the 1st week
It is like nowadays they barely in school but yet parents still complain the school year is too long.i tried not touching anything when i was younger and ended up pissing all over myself.Comment
