Another one - my girlfriend/our relationship. Since she started working her regular job, it started to go downhill between us. More fights, less intimate time, etc. She's been annoying me more and more, she's already throwing out the "Im 26 and I would like to have kids, plural, before I'm 30 but I want to be married before I have kids" ultimatums and in general things have just been snowballing towards the negative side.

I'm torn - Im not as sold on the future with her as I had been. She's an absolute keeper in some ways, no doubt about that, but the negatives have been popping up recently and some of our mentalities about the future (raising kids, moving, money, etc.) are very different. But the alternative is being single and unhappy and risking never finding someone as good as her good points are.

In short, relationships grind the **** out of all of my gears.
Wow.....you need to think long and hard about this pain in the butt relationship you are in. Because if you two fighting that much now, it will be even worse when you have kids. Then she will be complaining that you made her fat and gave her stretch marks because you got her pregnant. Or she will complain she had to put her life on hold to raise kids and it is your fault. Or some other woman BS.

I mean lets just say you two end up divorce but have kids together. Do you really want to deal with a baby mama like that for years ??? I mean she talking multiple kids in the span of 4 years when you two really aren't that financially stable yet.

Don't she realize you just got a job ? Kids are expensive. She seems detached from reality with all her demands and short time table. You might have to cut her loose. Dead serious.....If you fighting that much in a relationship, then that isn't the one for you. Too much stress.

You already have a job, maintaining a relationship shouldn't be a second job. That is BS. So think long and hard before she ends up pregnant.

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?

I tell you what, I'd much rather have to go through the trouble of finding another woman, than go through the trouble of divorce and custody of a child, which men usually never win.

Like stated previously, if you are fighting this much now, then it's only going to get worse. At the end of the day, your happiness is most important, and if you're not, then you need to cut ties now.

I did this a few years ago, where I was in the same predicament and it was the best decision I ever made. Like a weight lifted off of my shoulders.

Yeah, y'all aren't making my thoughts any easier.

Ill make it through the holidays and see how it goes. When things are good, they're real good - but recently they'd trended down towards the bad and they've been bad.

This whole situation grinds my gears.

When you go into a restaurant and they ran out of the ingredients for what you were going to order. Case in point, went to Subway for Lunch had my mind set on getting a 6" Meatball Sandwich, get there and they tell me they ran out of Marinara & Meatballs and are making more, it won't be ready for 15 minutes. So I have to just suddenly change my mind as I'm on my Work Lunch so I didn't have time to wait..

People who spit in public All the time. I can see if you have a glob of really nasty saliva built up that you just don't want to swallow, so you spit it out in a Bush, or a trash can away from people. What I dislike is the spitters, who are spitting every 2 minutes outside, everywhere, and in front of people. Guy in the park was hawking loogies all over the trail/playground area, while jogging, and he was spitting close to kids who were playing as well. Had to leave quickly, as I was starting to get aggravated seeing this behavior from a Grown Adult.

My future father-in-law is coming over to stay from late Wed to early Monday morning. I know my future MIL (they're divorced) will be over at some point after the holidays.

My dad just hates having people stay at their place, whereas I'm a little more lenient. We stayed with my fiancee's various family when we went to Ohio, and now that we have a house with space for a guest room we don't really mind having someone stay over.

This will be the first time having it happen though, so I hope it works out. Fingers crossed lol.

Subway is running that $2.00 6" Meatball sub deal. I can see why they may mis judge how much they needed..

Subway sandwiches. They are so terrible. I may be biased as I can go to a bodega and get a bigger, more filled sandwich for 4 bucks rather than a bum *** subway sandwich that will run me 5-8 dollars. When Im on a road trip or with friends and they decide on subway, I just cringe at the waste of money.

                        A tweet I just saw:

Yeah, I just took an hour and a half nap. #dontcare
What exactly are we supposed to fawn about on this? You took an hour and a half nap, so ****ing what? I would feel suicidal if my naps were only an hour and a half long.

I'm annoyed with this whole "Yeah I said it", "don't care", "sorry not sorry" type posts/tweets for things like this. "I like Savage Garden, #sorrynotsorry" Again, trust us, nobody cares.

Eh, could just be in a rut. And with you starting up a new, full time job recently, like you said time is scarce. You gotta let her know, hey l want some man-time. Whether that's playing video games, watching the game, or listening to music. Hell, I'm in bed right now on OS via Tapatalk and she's watching a movie right next to me. I worked 8am-9pm today, hung with her for an hour and am here now.

How long you two been together, anyway? There shouldn't be much fighting in Year 1-2, after that is the test.
