I've never understood obsessing about what people wear. If they look ridiculous then that's good because it just makes me look even better.

Online. A place called Avas which seemed like it was local, but it wasn't.

Anyway, they finally arrived today and of course they're all wilty looking. Lesson learned.

No a local radio station I was listening to. I normally buy her those fruit flowers (edible arraignments) but I wanted to give her actual flowers this year.

I made sure to let the radio station hear about it and I think they listened as proflowers actually emailed me back and refunded me.

I would complain and ask for a refund. Take a picture, and send the picture from their site and the actual flowers they sent. I didn't hold back. Tell them that these were not what you ordered, and if they want you can ship back the SH***Y flowers they sent your wife.

Luckily I think Proflowers has had this type of negative reputation, which I unfortunately did not research on before I made the purchase.. so they were quick to try and resolve the matter.

Gotcha. Yeah, I heard DP advertising the hell out of that site on his show. Didn't know if you'd heard it there. Gratz on blasting the company & getting your money back though.

As far as the topic goes: waitresses that mail it in & treat me like I'm inconveniencing them by just being there.

Don't worry... I'm still going to tip you, but it's not going to be what I would've originally offered up (and I always go 20-25% minimum).

              Sorry Flo.

Had that happen last night. Went to this Mexican place in downtown LA, and the waitress walks up, and just says, "So, is anyone getting drinks, or are we ready to order?" No greeting at all. When we asked (in advance) to get the check split three ways, she said, "I guess" and still managed to screw it up.

Ambivalence doesn't belong in the service industry.

How during the week when I barely have any time to check up on OS because I'm working 12 hour days, and am Exhausted by the time I get home, All the threads in here are blowing up while everyone is posting from work, school or just work from home.

Then by the time the Weekend rolls around and I have caught up on the massive amount of unread posts, threads... and I am finally ready to post! Off-Topic, Neighborhood is a dead wasteland and looks like this.

I gave up on off topic. Seems like I'm always 3or4 pages behind. And that just not checking it in 12 hours.

I hate when I'm doing my catching up reading, and there's a really interesting conversation going on or I have a really good response but the topic was like 6-7 pages behind and making a post at the current time would be completely irrelevant.

This is exactly why I don't share my wisdom with all of you more often.

You jerks move from topic to topic to quickly.

Yeah I usually just give the thumbs up thing and move on. I say it's like a 2-3 page leeway to respond, after that, you're too late, better luck next time.

Every time I turn it to TWC, all I see is a white car in the middle of a flood with a guy hanging from a helicopter rescuing a lady who didn't happen to know better than drive through a river that just suddenly appeared.
