Other stores might do it too, but that doesn't make it right and I don't buy that crap from them either. Like I said, I'd rather pay Lowes the extra $15 before rewarding that type of shady nonsense.
You can't even defend the sale by saying it was 30% off MSRP because $150 is HIGHER than MSRP. BTW, the old signs never had any "price without card" notations, they just purely jacked the price up to try and trick people into thinking it was a better deal.Comment

Hearing that a team can come back from a 0-2 series deficit just because some other team did it. Well, this team is not that team!My YouTube Channel: http://www.youtube.com/gosjsharks14Comment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Here's what has been grinding my gears lately.
Washingtonians. Seriously. You have a big group of people here who, having lost our own NBA team in 2008, think it's OK to root for another city to lose their team. I was just talking to a co-worker last night and we were talking about the Sonics. He said when they left, he didn't talk to anyone for a week.
I asked him if he was for the Kings coming to Seattle, to which he didn't hesitate.
"Of course, man!"
I asked him if he felt bad, at all, about wishing upon another city what we went through in 2008.
"Sucks to be them," he said.
I get it. I know people here want an NBA team, but how ******* short sighted can you be, clowns? I don't know... It just doesn't sit right with me. Lately, people's inability to put themselves in other's shoes has really chapped my ***. I loved the Sonics as much as anyone I know, but a giant part of me does not want another city and its fans to face losing their team... Yet so many Sonics fans are all for it.
Just doesn't make one damn bit a sense to me.Comment

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Not a bad team by any means, even if it's just AAA baseball."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment

Re: You know what really grinds my gears?
Birmingham has the Barons. Trust me when I say this: having a AA or AAA Baseball team to fall back on doesn't count.
edit: I actually go to several Barons games and their brand new park is really nice.
Birmingham is a strange place. For years it's felt like thigns have been stuck in neutral, but here recently a lot of people are getting a positive vibe, especially after a lot of changes to downtown including that new ball park.
The city could definetely handle a professional team, assuming they could afford it.Last edited by AUChase; 05-18-2013, 02:04 PM.Comment

I agree that a AAA team isn't something to fall back on, but it is still a team."Twelve at-bats is a pretty decent sample size." - Eric ByrnesComment
