People I play pickup basketball with act just like this.

New gear grinder, those *** **** YouTube ads! The ones that after you're watching the video just randomly pop up out of nowhere and play over the video you're watching.

The audio of the ad just completely takes over everything and it's unnecessary.

Going back to the whole holding open the door thing, I do that a lot myself.

From my own experiences, they acknowledge me holding the door open for them more often than not.

I get told "thank you" quite often, and get some smiles too. Not sure if it's just me or maybe the people here. I have no idea.

Another one is when you see someone walking behind you, so you hold the door and then they aren't even going in, they are walking by. They don't wave it off or anything. But that is just punishment for being nice I guess.

This one is your own fault. Adblock. Get it. I haven't seen an ad on Youtube on my computer in ages. Now if you are mobile... well, you can probably find a way to block those too.

I didn't mean to imply that it happens to me frequently here - it doesn't. Most people are decent and acknowledge it.

I've mentioned this one previously and it happened to me last night a couple of times.

People that interrupt you while you are telling a story (or joke) and carry on telling the rest of it themselves. My mother is the absolute worst for this.

A dumb*** struck out on my team tonight and threw his helmet, and I had to duck otherwise it'd get me in the face.

                I mean, I'm competitive, but I don't throw a temper tantrum that's the equivalent of a 5 year old girl's.
To some people, sports are more than just a game. Sports are their life. Without sports, they'd be nothing (in their own opinion of themselves). They live for the game.

Same here, more often than not get a "thanks", chalk it up as my good deed for the day, whether they appreciate it or not.

But... they don't. Half of our team quit because things weren't going their way. They don't like baseball, they like looking good in front of a bunch of girls and get pissed when they end up failing.

When someone says " I don't dislike the person, but I just dislike his actions and words". A person is DEFINED by his actions and words.

I don't hate the mass murderer as a person....I just hate that he slaughtered dozens of innocent people.

A person with no.actions, words or thought is just a physical matter that occupies space.Grinds my damn gears....

When you buy a game on Steam and within 2 days, it's 50% off... Damn Crusader Kings II. I just bought it for $40 and now it's $20.
