Get a beach towel or thick sheet, put it over your head and the TV. Problem solved.

Just hang a sheet up in the room or something.

You can't even watch TV or anything ? I'm the type of person that hates sleeping with absolutely zero noise in a room. I typically sleep with a box fan on and facing the bed. It's something I picked up from my dad. Most of the time I put something on Netflix and end up falling asleep while watching that.

He has a metal swirl cage fan mounted in their bedroom facing down at the bed.. lol.

I can't fall asleep in silence either. I've learned to sleep with an earbud in and I listen to podcasts on my iPod.

That's why I said the fort. Like the other guys said, hang a towel. Light won't penetrate like a sheet. Guess it depends on the layout of the room and the TV as to how well that will work.

                Dayman need one of these:

                http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...pf_rd_i=468642

Then he could just sit on his bed and play all night long.

Before I had a tv in my bedroom I'd use my laptop and put a t-shirt over the screen to block out the brightness, but let the sound through so I could fall asleep to music or streaming tv.

Now we just leave the tv on with a sleep timer, but that was nice when the brightness used to annoy me.

I think the fort idea would work somewhat, but definitely annoying.

I'm a quiet guy who minds his own business, but I was soooo tempted to go over and punch this couple in their faces after overhearing their conversation at dinner tonight.

Woman: Peyton Manning is really good for the Indianapolis Broncos.

Man: I think the Broncos are in Denver. Unless they've moved recently. I'm pretty sure they're the Denver Broncos.

Woman: Oh. Well, Eli plays for New York.

                        Man: The Jets?

Woman: No, that doesn't sound right.

Man: Well that's the team in New York.

Woman: The Giants! The New York Giants. That's who he plays for.

Man: Oh, that's right. The Giants moved from Los Angeles to New York a couple of years ago. And the Jets moved to Tennessee and became the Titans. And Tennessee moved to Houston and became the Texans.

That without a doubt sounds like a conversation you'd over hear in GTA V.

Social networking sites are okay and all, but what grinds my gears about them is that just about every website or commercial is about them or relating to them. So everywhere I turn I am reminded about something I just don't want, like it's a necessity or something.
